Lovely property right on the beach.

I liked how close it was to the beach The rooms had a bad smell about them. The beds and sheets didn’t feel clean. Just overall disappointed in the value they charge and doesn’t seem to really equate properly. Pool deck was small, not enough space for the amount of people on the property.

First the good- the location is superb, the on-site covered parking is clutch in sun and rain, and the pool was excellent. The breakfast spread was top notch and had variety. The bartenders were friendly and made great drinks and food. Now the bad- this place is not well maintained. The single elevator had a super soft floor that was a serious safety concern. The cleaning staff was awful! The rooms were filthy, the bed sheets were stained, and the shower had pink mold. Every time we tried to engage the staff, they complained about how hard the job was, yet we kept catching them scrolling their phones. They don't even clean every day, it's every other day! And the ugly- one morning my 11 y/o son accidentally got locked out of the room on his own. He went to the front desk and told them what happened, his name, my name, and the room number. They literally told him to wait outside the door!! Couldn't even be bothered to call the room about a minor?!? The staff (outside of the bartenders) needs a serious shake up, and the maintenance and cleanliness addressed, and only then will this place be worthy of the Marriott name.

It was an excellent location, right on the beach and close to shopping, restaurants and other retail stores. AC leaked, power knocked out cable/internet for quite a while after a thunderstorm.

I like the fact that the hotel is right on the beach and on Flagler Avenue My room was overlooking a garage. I paid over $300 a night and they tacked on an additional $20 a day to park my car in their garage.
