Good location, great outdoor seating area and coworking space. The bistro is perfect. I spent a day working and didn’t have to leave. The elevator is so slow but there are stairs so no problem.

Great hostel to stay in staff where great and super friendly and happy to help with anything. Close to Central Park and subway stations as well. Would definitely recommend staying here.

I've noticed that the common area such as the "restaurant area" has been renovated with comfortable seatings. ♥️ The elevator.... I've been staying there for years and the elevator takes forever there's only a few floors so it's crazy. PLEASE work on that.

Great stay! Very well-maintained hotel with lovely common areas, a large terrace, and great spaces to relax or work. Excellent food and a perfect location, just 3 minutes from the metro and 5 minutes from Central Park. Highly recommended

Perfect location, a great value for money and great for social spaces. The cafe on the ground floor was also a great addition to the property, selling everything from bagels to pancakes and $2 donuts to the biggest muffins you can find. The restrooms aren’t singular and instead are similar to your regular public stool bathrooms. This was different to the HI hostel in Boston so was a little different.

This was my second stay with them, and once again, I had a really positive experience. One thing I truly appreciate about this property is how quickly the team responds to questions and requests. Instead of simply rejecting a request, they actually listen and try their best to accommodate you. That says a lot about how much they care about their guests. I had a small issue during my previous stay, but the team listened to my feedback and addressed it, which I really appreciated. Of course, keep in mind that this is a hostel and you are sharing the space with other people, so you can’t always expect complete quiet. That’s simply part of the hostel experience. The property itself is clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff are extremely friendly. As someone who works in customer service myself, I know how much patience, kindness, and effort it takes to provide genuinely great service. Christopher was especially helpful, kind, and welcoming throughout my stay. But what really makes this place stand out is the people. You meet guests from all over the world, have conversations you didn’t expect, make connections, and sometimes even leave with new friends. That’s something you can’t put a price on! I honestly can’t say much more except thank you for being human, welcoming, and understanding. Those little things make a huge difference when you’re away from home. Can’t wait to be back again! ❤️

The amenities ! Even though it’s very little selection I love the fact that we get a free drink during certain hours. I also love how they have free activities during your stay . They also have AC in rooms and will accommodate if available (I.e. Lowe bunk if you have health issues) . I like the fact that you can reserve a locker until 11 pm after your stay for only $5. They also have their own kitchen and theater room . I honestly would recommend going from Wednesday through Sunday because that’s when most of the good activities (Pilates, walk in Central Park, etc.) happens. Pricey cafe area. Only a few stalls in the women’s rest room. Very limited activities from Sunday through Tuesday . Barely any outlets it’s only one elevator that takes forever .They only have real plates, they should try offering disposable for the people who hate dishes . They also have pricey store (it’s $3 for a pack of tide detergent for one wash ) . I guess you’re paying for convenience .
