Kama Central Park Hostel

It's closer to Central park, subway and take away's food stores.

Only issue i had, the kitchen did not have a fan. I had to eat while sweating.

Bed was very squeaky

friendly staff , super affordable rates to stay - yes its a hostel so you share a room and common bathrooms but I have stayed here twice and loved it both times !!! its a short walk to 103rd st station(s) for subway , you can walk to central park in minutes. Had hot shower day and night, common areas were very clean. Highly recommend if youre looking for a no frills , budget friendly stay at a safe , welcoming space !

Amazing trip! A half block to central park and a one and a half blocks to a major subway. Only thing was the other person took over the shared space in our 2 pod room which is no fault of Kama!

Overall it was odd. Sleeping in a pod provided surprisingly quiet restful sleep. But sharing the space was awkward. Everyone not talking was odd. The breakfast was disappointing and the coffee was pretty terrible.

Clean room and sleeping bunk. A/C barely kept up because my bunk was farthest away. Still charming and memorable to have a place always available to support the essentials on a visit to New York City.

The location is great The room was not cleaned properly, and the restroom wasn’t clean either. There was no soap provided.

The place was great. My issue is the fact that I was told if I booked more than One night id have had to leave. I guess you all dont accept people from New York state? Why is that? If I had booked more than one night I would have been made to leave and that seems unfair to me.

No it was awful. Sweltering heat with a shitty AC that didn't work and someone else's TOENAIL CLIPPINGS ON THE BED. I like the breakfast and location.
