Rodeway Inn Near JFK Airport

Llegué de madrugada y al llegar no tienen bien identificada la entrada pues la principal la tienen cerrada. Al entrar por lo que parecía un área de servicio y carga, logramos llegar a la recepción y el señor me indica que mi reserva fue cancelada pero nunca me notificaron. Realmente gracias a Expedia se pudo resolver la situación y me accedieron a dar la habitación, luego de casi hora y media de estar allí. Fue frustrante la falta de servicio al cliente y de querer solucionar las cosas más sencillas. No se buscaba lujos ni nada, sabemos que pagamos un hotel low cost, pero nos hicieron pasar un muy mal rato. La habitación estuvo bien, al menos pudimos descansar unas horas. Recomendación, verifiquen antes que no les cancelen la reserva porque no les gusta pagar la comisión a Expedia y por eso cancelan.

Very little We arrived late in a stormy night after 12 hours travel. We had booked and pre paid a room for 3 people, but was only offered 1 bed. No alternatives, no refund, nothing

The only blanket was stained. It was very cold in the room. No way to adjust heat. It was very noisy. He charged extra money at check in. Bed was very uncomfortable. Room was very small.

This place is a dump but we just needed somewhere to sleep for a few hours before catching our plane. The room was so small we could barely walk abound the beds. One of the beds was pushed up against the AC/heating unit which is clearly a fire hazard. It looked like a single room that they jammed two beds into. There was no valet parking, bellhop or concierge service which was advertised. We had to park on the street in a very sketchy neighborhood. This was a ripoff at $350 a night.

The photos of the rooms are not accurate to what the rooms actually look like, the tv apps did not work and there were hardly any channels on cable that worked. If it was for more than a night I would’ve left after the first because the only way to have ac without the smell of mildew was to have it set down at 66 degrees. The bathroom mirror was the only good part of the room. Definitely would not book again.

Stay away from this hotel by all means it’s in a very extreme sketchy neighborhood homeless and drug addicts all over on the streets on the same block the room we were assigned as soon as we walked in. There’s no rain outside and hasn’t been but there’s water dripping really good stream steady into a bucket sitting in the room that was assigned to us very very poor condition. Do not stay here by any means.

Location to close to JFK airport. That is it. No parking, no hot water in shower, no A/C (there was a A/C but it was not working), no table, no chair, no closet This motel room has just bed and toilet with no hot water shower. Why dit I have to pay over 100 Dollar to this poor facility. Why this kind of poor facility is included in booking.com??????????

location of the place is overall good - about 10 minute drive with no traffic to JFK airport ( 25min with traffic). cost per night was resonable location : was hoping that close location would make Uber to airport cheaper ( no airport transit) but it cost about 45$ so no luck there. shower had only warm water at best (after waiting for more than 5 min - moving from cold to warm) size of the room was very small ( it is as advertise ) there is sufficiant place for two double bed but almost nothing more. drapes - room drapes were not closing all the light and people from outside could see into the room from the slacks. noise - due to location of the room - we constantly heard the traffic. elevator - only two stories but elevator was not working properlly , i had to carry the laggage by hand using the stairs

Very Comfortable place, close enough to the airport, and many restaurant options in the area

No breakfast. Location is ok. For the price it was ok. But I will hesitate to stay there in future.
