Hampton Inn Newark Airport

Shuttle was very fast and efficient and timely, check-in went very well (and it was late at night), breakfast was much better than the Hampton at Chicago airport, easy to get the shuttle back the next day, and check out. Carpet was pretty old in the main areas but the hotel was clean, although very spartan. New bedding, towels, hardware in room, shower.

Lighting in the room could have been brighter!

Nice, clean room with great beds. Decent breakfast. Getting the shuttle late at night was tricky. Instructions from hotel weren't accurate, given trains weren't operating at the baggage claim exit where we got our bags. Given it was so late (12:30 am) and we were exhausted after a long day of international travel, we got a cab, which cost $43.

Room and shower was very clean and comfortable, there is a gym, hot breakfast was delicious, included avocado and tater tots :), the bagel bag to go included apple, water, peanut butter jelly, cream cheese if you do not have time for breakfast, this was a useful, needed surprising detail for those traveling very early in the morning, thanks for thinking in such a customer service-oriented detail. The shuttle is 24 hours. I'll stay here again if visiting New York, peaceful, affordable, excellent service.

The.parking fee where a bit excessive you have to pay for each day and the last day you have no way to exit and the intercom doesn't work so I had to go back inside to got off of the lot.

Pricy but good The price

No microwave in the room. Couldn't heat food purchased in the lobby. Toilet was much too low and lighting was dim.

Elane at the desk was fantastic. Very helpful. We could not be happier with her. Rafael, the driver was also very good.

Close to the airport. The shuttle took a long time to arrive. We waited for an hour in the middle of the night.

Water and ice machine in the floor were great. Staff were friendly All the cups, plates and cutlery were thrown away but there was no recycling bins.

The hotel is close to the airport with 24 hour free airport shuttle which was very useful for us. Staff were also friendly and helpful

I didn't like that I had to pay parking. I have Never paid for parking when I was staying in a hotel

Property is a bit older but is being renovated and is clean. Great place for those red eyes out of EWR.
