Hilton Newark Airport

Very convenient and easy to get to the hotel from the airport. From the airport, there are signs indicating where to wait for the shuttle, however, I called the hotel and they gave me another location and it was easier to get to.

Clean and convenient for the airport. Not much else around though.

Great shuttle service . Great food and drinks

There is a $33 a day Parking fee. Ask about the parking so you get an understanding on what to need to do. Anthony made the start so much better. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Wonderful housekeeping staff. We were in town for a family reunion and it was a good stay. Very comfortable, super soft beds and pillows. Clean rooms.

The biggest problem with this Hilton Newark is that they structurally commit credit card frauds why it poses security threats. I t was not by chance but after investigation I found that they do it regularly with all credit cards of customers. I booked this hotel on Expedia using a Mastercard for guarantee and I would check in and pay at hotel using my American Express. First when I am paying more money to pay at hotel, they shouldn’t have touched my card on file while I was on my way to the hotel. Upon arrival, Amaya Checked me in and authorized the whole amount of our stay $1106.75 from my American Express. At the same time they kept charging my both cards for changing amounts such as: $1081.16, $96, $910.87, $174,29 I kept getting alerts from both cards that a total has 7 different amounts from 2 cards has been charged. I was never told about this, I never authorized this nor I owed these amounts. I visited the reception and Spok to Amaya and Rob (Assistant Manager). But nobody gave me any explanation. I was furious and scared at the same time as the hotel may not take any charge without authorizing from the customers. As there was no charge owed it constituted to abuse of credit cards on file for credit card frauds. I have taken this matter seriously and am taking them to the court and the authorities. I spoke to General Manager Ms. Fay about this and other complaints but there was no solution nor any compensation. Just apologizing doesn’t help either.

Needs more thorough cleaning. The restaurant needs more communication. Check in was very friendly. Convenient because it’s very close to airport. Shuttle available 24 hours.

I was extremely disappointed and felt very disrespected that for the high price of 4-star hotel I was provided zero service and comfort.

Reservamos 2 camas pero al llegar solo había una pero la recepcionista amablemente nos brindó una cama plegable, adicional el inodoro no bajaba y el agua de la ducha demora mucho en bajar también y ya no quisimos molestar porque llegamos muy cansados y debíamos madrugar para irnos y no queríamos pasar la madrugada cambiando de habitación.

All around fantastic stay. Room was clean and a decent size with a mini fridge and complimentary water, which was a nice touch. Some general wear and tear in the room but cleanliness is more important to me than aesthetics. Front desk staff was very helpful. Breakfast was perhaps one of the best hot buffets I've ever seen at a hotel, just be sure you include breakfast when you book your room because it's not included by default. They have a nice Starbucks counter and restaurant as well. Airport shuttle is reliable and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Advertised as at airport but need to catch train to get there. Shuttle was 45 mins

Dinner at bar was very good from quality and quantity. Selection on menu allowed several options to choose.
