Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel

Shuttle service was right on time and very efficient in getting everyone to their locations at the airport. Prices of snacks were too expensive.

The shuttle to the airport was prompt and the driver was ever so friendly. The room needs SERIOUS work. The peephole on the door had fallen out and someone stuck a p0iecxe of tissue in the hole so no one could peep in. The TV is broken. It only shows horizontal lines of the show. Worst o9f all, the light switch on the wall next to the shower has a chunk missing leaving open hot wires exposed to the shower that is less than 2 foot way! I did not take an shower.

The location and the free shuttle. Information was not given about using our room cards to utilize the elevator. Besides me there were other guests also who didn't know. Once I got to the room the hot water in the bathroom was not there. Housekeeping did come up to help. Seems like that part of the hotel was not being used so the hot water was slow in coming. They kept it on for 1/2hr so hot water would come.

Check in was very easy and quick. Room was ready when arrived so I was able to take luggage to room and get settled. Room very spacious and clean. I was on the 8th floor. No airport noise which was great as the hotel is very close to the airport. Huge gym with working equipment and filtered water machine and towels. Very nice facilities. I was bummed to learn the hotel didn't have a hotel restaurant or bar but it was easily solved by going to the hotel next door as they had full service restaurant.

I chose this hotel because it was near to the airport and had a shuttle. The service was excellent! The furniture in the room made it feel a little cramped.

The bed was comfortable, the breakfast nook and drinks area was convenient. There is a microwave also. Staff is great, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful at all times. There’s also a huge gym with great equipment.

Clean sheets and spacious room, but overall tired-looking room and hotel.

Carpet was sticky everywhere and bunched up throughout the room. I had to lay down towels to walk without shoes on. Had severe scratchy throat immediately overnight even with the air turned off. Severe allergies through my flight home which left as soon as I was home. Shuttle runs on the half hour which is dumb considering the airport is across the street. Should run every 15, especially when it’s 5am.

The bed was comfortable, and it was conveniently located if you are coming in late and flying out early from the airport. The shuttle service was nice. This hotel was outdated and overpriced. They charged me more than what was locked in via Booking, and I'm unable to get through to billing. I would have never spent that amount for one night. The room itself was fine, but the hotel was very outdated and feels like it's falling apart. I wouldn't recommend staying more than a night or two.
