Aiden by Best Western Newark Airport

Very clean and comfortable room. Just stayed overnight to catch an early morning flight. The shuttle to the airport terminal was very convenient. Highly recommended!

The air conditioning unit was very noisy and not able to maintain the cooling temperature. Couldn’t sleep entire night as AC unit was making lots of noise every couple minutes and was cery loud.

The Aiden Best Western @ Newark Airport was a great surprise. It’s very non-descript from the outside, just a plain looking building. But I step inside and the lobby has a nice waiting area with a to-go market of coffee and snacks and just down the hall, a full restaurant and bar. The rooms are huge and immaculate. And, they run a free shuttle to the airport every half hour. Literally couldn’t ask for more… and at a seriously good price!

Unfortunately, one of the queen beds was extremely soft and sagged significantly when you laid on it. After spending all day walking and sightseeing, we were looking forward to a comfortable night's sleep, so this was disappointing. In fact, the bunk bed mattresses were more comfortable than the queen beds. The hotel bar and restaurant were very convenient, but the service and food quality need significant improvement. During our five-day stay, we visited twice. Several menu items were either unavailable or came with explanations as to why they couldn't be prepared as advertised. For example, we were told the wings couldn't be tossed in sauce, even though the menu clearly states they are available plain or tossed in Buffalo or BBQ sauce. My sister ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, and it contained an overwhelming amount of rum, making it difficult to enjoy. The pizza tasted like a frozen pizza that had simply been heated in an oven. One evening, we overheard a cook say, "I'm going to have a smoke and then I'll go cook." She then went outside to the patio area for a cigarette before returning to the kitchen. Throughout our visits, both the cook and bartender took several smoke breaks while guests were waiting for service or needed assistance.

I guess we got lucky and had an extra large room. It was modern comfortable, clean, quiet super comfortable mattress. Not the best view, but I guess that’s what you get when you’re close to the airport

I had a connecting flight at EWR, so I spent the night here. The basic necessities were on hand, and my stay was comfortable.

After waiting an hour i had to take a taxi

The staff's attitude was terrible and discriminatory. They were rude during check-in and threw my passport onto the table when returning it. The shower drain was clogged. When arriving at the hotel by taxi, the location display was faulty and I couldn't find it. It was far too expensive considering how awful the experience was.

The airport shuttle was great!
