Best Western Plus Newport News Inn & Suites

Very hard to get your hands on towels and bath clothes and the treadmill wasn't working in the fitness room, but other than that everything was Great! Awesome breakfast and super great staff! I would highly recommend this location.

I did not like anything about the property There were a lot of roaches and the bathroom walls weren’t clean, and the tv’s weren’t working. Carpet was dirty

Im glad I waited a while to respond. I'd like to be completely objective and not fueled with anger. The manager was never around during my 3 day two night stay. 1. The night of my arrival, it was late after a 5 1/2 hrs drive. When we check in and get into our room, and begin to relax ,we start to notice how unclean the room is. This room was near the housekeeping room. It looks like this room was used by staff, like a hang out for them. Hair in the bed, sugar or salt all over the night stand, juice stains on the floor near bathroom and sticky substance on table. This was a double queen suite. When I complained to attendant, he moved us to a 2 double bed room and said he would reduce my rate for that night. The problem is that I had already paid in full. Anyway, we move into the new room and there was an odor upon entry. We immediately see the horribly filthy couch. We pull the sofa bed out and there was the most disgusting mattress embedded within. The worst stains... we didn't use the sofa bed. Because it was so late, we had to get some rest so we take pictures and go to bed. The next morning we see a used pink razor in the shower. So we pack our stuff and go to the receptionist and explain the situation. Not to the manager, again, no manager around. The receptionist gave us another room and promised it would be ready when we returned. She apologized. She gave us a king and double queen sweet. The room was okay but the remote to TV didn't work. Good location Stains on the walls , stains kn the bath tub , holes in the wall and and roof , couch had a huge stain on one side . We didn’t feel comfortable to sleep or sit on it .

The location was good and the suite was nice for our first stay. I stayed there for 1 week, left for a couple days and came back. Our room for the second was on the 3rd floor and there was a small water leak. Decided to leave and stay somewhere else. Been trying to contact the hotel but never received a response back.

Superb

Room was clean and comfortable. Pool had a lot of leaves in it.I picked this hotel for the Hot tub and it was broke and also a lot of leaves. Ice machine was broke had to go to different floor for ice. It was conveniently located. I guess it will work in a pinch but I will stay elsewhere when I'm in town.

The breakfast was horrible. It was not stocked, pancake maker was broken, bagels were hard and the juice was warm, no ice. The room smelled like weed and the air conditioning did not work well. No one seemed to care.

Will be back, very nice .

The pool needs cleaned and water is low. Same with the hot tub. False fire alarm went off at 415am that was crazy. Breakfast was not the best. Parking is great.

Location near stores First night out room was cold the carpet was damp and it smelled like mildew. The bathroom tub was slippery and my friend fell. We asked to be moved to another room the next day and were moved to a better room still smelled a little mildew but was better than the first room.
