I had a great experience

Never been to a hotel that didn’t offer complementary coffee and tea😞

This property was great! Clean, spacious and updated. Staff was courteous and kind, helping with everything that I needed. My only issues was that the hot tub wasn't working and the wifi was trash. Me and my bf were trying to watch HBO and it would take 40 minutes to watch an one episode of euphoria because the wifi was buffering. Same struggle for youtube and Netflix so just beware of that. Everything else was great.

My room was not ready when I checked in for a two-night stay, waited approx half hour. My room was not refreshed the following day. The front staff was very pleasant and useful.

All then staff were very courteous and professional.

Always attentive and friendly. Won’t stay anywhere else when in the Newport News area!! ❤️

Hot tub didn’t work but I loved the stay

Great pool, big room, very clean.

Room was not very clean. Room had odor of mildew and musky odor. Bed linens were very worn. Needed additional towels towels that were given smelled unclean. Ceiling falling apart. Walls dirty.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back on my next trip.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The staff who were at the concession staff were very nice.

I believe Marriott needs to invest in the property. Friendly staff, helpful and overall pretty good. Just some minor things separating the hotel from being 4-5Star.

I will be honest here. Hot tub was closed. Pool was dirty. Worst part of my stay was getting charged $50/day for incidentals which I was ok with being I travel frequently for work but upon checkout I was charged an extra $180 and no one can explain it to me until Monday at earliest and I left hotel to head on vacation so I’m down $380 before I ever left Virginia. Didn’t try breakfast or dinner from bistro due to high prices. Had towels replaced once in 4 day stay and bed was never made. Staff was friendly but hotel needs a lot of work. Wish I would’ve stayed anywhere else due to the charges I’ve incurred for absolutely nothing. Don’t depend on soaps in shower either. All 3 of mine were empty and never refilled. Lobby is hot and humid

The location is convenient to shops and restaurants. I was not aware there would be a parking fee of $5 per day.

Great experience staff was nice and room was clean and ideal location

The stay was relaxing
