Bathroom was clean. Room not so much

Bed bugs!!! I've stayed at other Microtels that were very clean. But i stayed two nights and left with bed bug bites all over my head and arms. Shower was pretty decent. Free breakfast is also minimal with options compared to other places.

I asked the front desk clerk to borrow a pen, while I was taking a business call. The clerk did not want me to use the DAMN pen, and told me not to walk away from the desk with the pen. I saw three pens sitting on the front desk and one in front of the computer. I literally had to ask permission to walk away from the front desk to take a business call in private and use their pen. Very disappointed 😞☹️. I will be writing the corporate office.

The night staff was polite and friendly Roaches crawling all around and bed bugs keeping me up all night.

BED BUG ALERT! Funny smell. Dirty floor. Only nice things = updated bathroom and the front desk clerk.

Brandi(I think was her name) checked us in and was very nice and accommodating. She and a guest let us know that there was coffee and hot tea available and snacks for purchase. They also lead us on an adventure to the store which was in walking distance. Breakfast is continental…no eggs or meat but waffles, yogurt, toast, cereal and other bread items. The lobby smelled and looked great but the room smelled old and the shower was stained. I’d suggest getting that together and cleaning the freezer as it was brown ice formed. Overall 8/10!

Great Staff

Didn’t stay - had cockroaches - now fighting to get money back! Dead and alive coach roaches, and the staff just said, “the rain brought them in!” Gross

I liked the staff everyone was welcoming and helpful. Offered me a better room for my stay. I liked the shower pressure and the air conditioner. I booked a queen bed walk in shower and the first room i got the bed was dirty hair was all in the blankets. I walked the room and it looked and felt like it wasn’t swept. I then called for a better room and they got me a better one. I walked the room the bathroom had been swept but they left all the trash behind the bathroom door. The shower still had hair on the walls and all 4 corners of the shower. The bed was broken at the end so it made a terrible sound everyone i say on it. The light switches would work but then they wouldn’t a few hours later.

The location was convenient, with plenty of restaurants and fast-food places nearby, including Chick-fil-A and other options. Buckroe Beach was about a 30-minute drive away, which was convenient for a family beach trip. Breakfast was okay and fairly basic, with cereal, juice, coffee, muffins, and bread. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. It was clean, safe, family-friendly, and in a good location. I would recommend it for families looking for a comfortable place to stay in the Hampton area.

This property is absolutely a dump! The entrance tells it all! Contact High for starters! All the the furniture was stained or worn! Not the greatest of neighborhoods.. nothing like the web site!

Filthy. Someone left a half smoked jointed in the window. And smelled like mold .. woke up in the morning to a big roach crawling on the floor
