great stay

The newer part of the hotel was really nice. The older rooms were just ok with very thin walls. View was delightful.

We loved our stay here! It was quiet, bed was comfortable, room was clean and the ocean/beach views were amazing!

Very nice hotel- part of the Hallmark chain. Room was lovely and ocean front. Comfortable bed. My main issue was the staff. I booked 3rd party day of. I was in and out of cell service and the staff left an important voicemail that I pulled over on the side of the road to return. They wanted to know my dog’s names (why is this important before I get there?) and were pressing me to confirm every detail I just booked. It was a non-refundable booking being so last minute, and even if they are “just checking” it would do nothing. It was a waste of time and the person on the phone was obviously irritated when I asked why she needed to call me when I was about to be there and could deal with this in person. A different person checked me in and basically just handed me my keys and a map. No other explanation. I’d stay here agin for the hotel itself, but please work on training your staff:

This was absolutely the BEST place to stay on the west coast! The staff went above and beyond for our whole stay! Do yourself a favor and stay at the Allred,you won’t regret it and beach is right down the way! It was perfection!

Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff!

For the price this was more of a motel/hotel they put us in the not so nice section and to be honest it was disappointing experience not what I expected at all

We stayed in a king classic room. We thought it would’ve been a little more spacious, but the balcony bedroom and bathroom were all pretty tight. They’re also weren’t any drawers for us to store our clothing we had to live out of our suitcase during our stay. There was no air-conditioning either. During the evening it was nice but during the day it did get a little warm. The view from the balcony was spectacular especially at sunset and there was a cool breeze blowing through during the evening, which made it very relaxing. The staff was super helpful and helping us address our concerns and making it right.

The kitchen was a surprise. We enjoyed some meals in our room looking out to the water.

We LOVED this place. A wonderful location, great staff, and the rooms were huge and so clean and cozy! I would recommend a stay here for the ocean view balcony alone! We will 100% be staying here again if we’re ever in the area.

Otherwise great stay at Newport.

We had one of the newer rooms with a great view of the beach. Access to the beach was super convenient and easy. We loved the wash stations to rinse off the dogs before entering the hotel. I am so glad that nice hotels like these are dog friendly. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Would stay again in a heartbrat

Staff were very accommodating, however it’s a bit misleading to book at this hotel and end up in the old un renovated part with no AC.
