Elizabeth Oceanfront Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Great stay. Great staff. Clean room.

Beachfront is nice. Nice, helpful staff.

When I checked in to my suite I was told because there were 5 of us, 3 young kids with me and my wife that I would have to book another room. They had a 4 person limit. My room had two king beds and a couch. I was told there was no other option so I was forced to book another room or find a different hotel after my 9 hr drive. I ended up booking the additional room which went unused. They didn’t or couldn’t enforce their rule but yet I had to pay over $400 for a room to go empty. There was plenty of room for my family in one room. This staff has a complete lack of common sense. Additionally the rooms were not nice, I couldn’t wait to leave.

The staff were friendly and we were checked in fairly quick. They did have an issue with one of the elevators, but it was fixed the day we got there. We were bummed we weren’t able to use the fire pit area because we brought our dog. It was one reason I booked there, as I didn’t see anything on here about that area being off limits to people with pets and it was not mentioned when I called to confirm room availability for bringing our dog. It wasn’t until I read the flyer we received at checkin that we saw anything about that restriction. But overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely love all the amenities such as free water, salt water taffy, the robes and the chowder in the lobby. Always a favorite when I visit Newport 😊

It’s a nice hotel and the room was upgraded but hotel needs an upgrade in my opinion. The one elevator didn’t bother me as much but then

The room was modern and comfortable. And the view! Absolutely fantastic.

Proximity to beach and start of Newport Marathon. King bed is high off floor which is great! View of ocean from room and balcony are fantastic. While worth it, tends to be a little more expensive than other hotels with a more robust breakfast options.

Wonderful time

This place was great I loved their property the pool was awesome and the fire pits were great short was to the beach and the room was so comfortable and set up perfectly for us. They didn’t really offer breakfast it was just some packaged stuff but the night before they did have chowder that we didn’t try but heard was good and chocolate chip cookies that we did get and were good.

Beautiful beach view and the room was very spacious! Caleb at the front desk was warm and welcoming! This was a great hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend and would stay again!

I love this place Setting is beautiful

My room had an amazing view! I could open the sliding glass door to hear the ocean and the view was fantastic! The hot tub is lukewarm. So disappointing.

I liked the cleanliness and the facilities, and it was great that there was enough parking. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I also liked the spa, and the pool environment was warm, which made it comfortable to be there while it was very cold outside. Mmm, and they had two elevators up and running ..If they had a dining room available and maybe a more complete breakfast option, it would be amazing!

The property is located right above the beach , is clean, fairly quiet, and has very helpful, friendly staff. The breakfast is pretty standard continental faire. But a reasonable selection to get your days started. There is not really a dining area but that's what we used our balcony for. Why eat inside when you can relax overlooking the beach and ocean! There is always water bottles and coffee available and they do an evening chowder and cookie offering every night which was actually better than a couple restaurants we ate at! My only opportunity for improvement would be direct beach access versus having to walk couple properties up to get it. NOT a big deal! We loved our stay and will definitely be back! Thank you to all the staff and team, you guys ROCK!
