Seagrass Oceanfront Inn

This under-construction venue is in a fantastic location, and with an oceanfront view. The description made no secret of the state of renovation, and while the rooms are a little out of date, my actual room was very clean and with some nice touches. WIFI in the room was marginal, there were no amenities such as a pool or café on site; however, everything in the room was in good working order, and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Did I mention the oceanfront view??!

Room was clean and staff were helpful with finding morning coffee and restaurants. Good value hotel.

The buildings needed new roofs

I won’t lie, at first I thought this place had seen better days, and it has. Then I thought they really need to do a big renovation, and they do. That said, if you can deal with clean, but a little worn; smallish but a beach view from your bed; a cumbersome walk to the beach but wide open beach with a few people. This is your place. Besides once they do all the renovations I probably will not be able to afford it. I’ll be back!

Needs major updates. Thought there was a restaurant and bar bit there wasn't one.

We asked for a refund and left. The room smelled horribly of chemicals and were told it's what they clean with. Toxic! The room also was mot as pictured. No wall in between. Very tiny.

Upon arrival sometime around eight the restaurant was already closed expensive Hotel black light showed horrible stains on the walls and the floors granted they’re going through a remodel and they put a first-time customer in a terrible old room for $280 a night. Never stay here again , the someone charged$162. In fees to our credit card which were not used by us that means our credit card was stolen reported it to the staff they were helpful.

The room was clean, the bed was hard. The property itself was in need of a lot of maintenance. The staff was great.

The staff was responsive and helpful. The actual property is old and outdated. They are renovating the rooms. I would return to this property if I knew I could have a renovated room. The room we had was not air conditioned. It had a box fan. Luckily, we stayed there in mid September. If it had been August I don’t think we could have done it. The room was clean. The coffee maker wasn’t a KCup so we went to WalMart and bought a small K cup machine. We always bring our own k cups so we can enjoy our favorite coffee. The shower was clean but the shower head was old and had bad shower pressure. But the beach access was close to the room. Again, helpful staff and a clean room. Just make sure you get a renovated room and you should enjoy your stay. I’m sure these properties are quite expensive to operate and we felt that they were doing the best they can.

Zero emenities

Clean and spacious room. The exterior appeared to be under some construction with old furnishings on one corner of the property. Convenient to the beach.

You can Park your car in front of your room was one of the nice features.... It will be nicer when remodeling o f rooms completed. I

The views of the ocean were amazing. The remodel is going well. Everything I requested was done with a smile.

The view was beautiful, there is no ventilation. There is no fan in the bathroom, the window screen popped out a few times. There was a box fan - a well used box fan without a handle. It was a lowsy nights rest and uncomfortable. wifi password was provided but no directive as to which

This hotel should have been torn down years ago! Won't be back.

Beautiful view of the ocean. Liked the furniture. Needed air conditioning. Faucet not working well; had to use force to pull the handle out. Bed needs mattress upgrade. More pillows, please. Bathroom was really nice; especial the tub area.

That is was from 1990 old t.v couldn't watch picture was so bad. Smallest and worst coffee pot. Chairs were so dirty. And a lady that came to check on the water drove a nasty car full of trash mad eme very uncomfortable.
