Hallmark Resort - Newport

The room did get a bit warm in the afternoon with the sun hitting the glass door, but the box fan in the closet was a huge help. Staff were very nice and we loved the free coffee and tea in the lobby. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful resort with amazing views!

A very nice clean hotel. One caveat, the pool is not always accessible—it was closed the day we got in . Georgie’s restaurant is good and convenient.

It’s a wonderful place to stay! Everyone was so accommodating and the room and view of the ocean were amazing. Their restaurant, Georgie’s, was also amazing. Looking forward to staying there again!

We were actually disappointed. Our room had a cool wood cathedral ceiling and gas fireplace but the room was tiny. We found it difficult to unpack. You had to slam the bathroom door to get it to close. We had no wash cloths or makeup cloths. The hot tub in the spa looked dirty but may just be stained so we did not use it. The room had a nice balcony and the bed was fine. Overall it was fine but not wonderful but the price was good for oceanfront.

The hotel was great, and the view and ocean access were wonderful. The room was clean and spacious and the balcony was an extra plus. Georgie's restaurant attached to the hotel had great food for dinner and the service was fast. Our only complaint was that the rooms could use some updating. Other than that we had a great experience and enjoyed our stay.

Front desk gave me the wrong information and over drafted my credit card. I told the girl at front desk to make sure night staff understood their policy so another customer wasn’t over drafted and she didn’t care.

Loved the oveanfront view with deck, excellent customer service, very clean and bed was very comfortable with good pillows. Pool was wonderful with perfectly warm temperature.

Not what I expected

Amazing views, staff and so so very close to the ocean. Only a 2 minute walk to the water and you could walk the beach for miles.

Right on the beach, pet, friendly, and super clean. We loved it and I would definitely recommend and go back.

Great room! Two large beds plus a sofa bed, kitchen sink, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, fireplace, two bathroom sinks (one inside the bathroom, the other outside…super convenient for mornings!). All rooms have a balcony facing the ocean. Very comfortable beds, quiet, go to bed with the small pocket window open and you hear the soothing sound of waves as you fall asleep. We’ll be back.

We had a fantastic one-night stay! It was cold and blustery, so we decided to order room service for supper from Georgie’s and it was delicious! It was so good, we ordered breakfast the next morning too! They have games and puzzles in the lobby, so we borrowed Scrabble and enjoyed the bad weather! The view was still gorgeous!

Good location and great staff.

Nice clean room, comfy bed, awesome views. Only problem was the mini-fridge wasn't working, but I only had water & sodas in it, so not a big deal. Love the location and Georgies restaurant is always great.
