Travelodge by Wyndham Newport

This was an interesting hotel! I called twice concerning handicap accessible, both calls were answered very rudely. Our blanket had multiple holes, there was no air conditioning! We went to ask for an ice bucket and he gave us a plastic bag, The toilet was plugged and we were told to fix it our selves. I definitely would not stay again! The bathroom floor was not clean at all!!!

Convenient and good value!

The pictures online look way better than what you're getting when you show up. We had blood stains on our sheets. It was disgusting. Mold in the shower gross. I will never be staying here again and I feel like I should get a refund.

Staff didn’t greet us when we arrived. Not sure she said hello. Informed ice was in a separate building in back. Neglected to tell us a code was needed and had to return to the lobby to get the code. The hotel itself could be updated for the price.

Bathroom was grime around base. Door had a big gap.

Our bathroom sink did not have a plug in it and there was stuff stuck in the sink. I did not expect the Taj mahal but I kind of got a dumpy hotel experience I paid more for the next place I stayed....

Comfortable bed. No A/C. Has fridge and microwave. Never replaced my towels in four days. No cable. Must continually sign into WiFi. It’s a bare-bones motel for what it cost.

Very clean accommodations, friendly and helpful staff. Great location, near to restaurants and the beach.

Not to bad for a cheap stay and last minute booking but the staff were unfriendly and rude the room telephone didn't work Wich is not a big deal but still and the room wasn't clean when we first came in so overall not worth what I paid for it

Room was small and hot and no air conditioning. Noisy from exterior and other guests on the other side of the wall. Bed was not comfortable.

There is no A/C! When the description said it had a fan for each room, I assumed it was in addition to the standard A/C... Nope. It was hot and stuffy, no good movie channels on cable. Not worth $289.00 for two nights! The staff were fine but you are better of at a motel 6 with A/C and an updated facility. Ps you are on highway 101 and if you need to keep your window open for air flow which we did, get used to trucks passing by day and night.

Clean room.

Stains all over the carpet and dirty walls. Bathroom was dirty.

Good place for the price.

For the price this is a good option. However, the carpet in our room had been shampooed and the room smelled of mildew and the carpets were still wet. We had to open the windows , all night and run a fan.

Perfect stop on our way down the coast.

Room was smelly with a worn out mattress.No Air conditioner
