Was an extremely enjoyable stay, always in the summertime having the pool as an option is wonderful, we did not dine here outside of grabbing a coffee and pastry in the morning, all staff were very attentive. Truly enjoy being here, look forward to coming back soon!

Our room was a king size waterview. Spacious with amazing views. Clean room that has been renovated recently. However at night the AC would stop and have to restarted. The warmth in the room would wake us up. The outdoor pool was so beautiful. Love that staff helps you find chairs and umbrella and sets up towels. No one can save chairs and be somewhere else. Restaurants, cafe and gift shop were great. Playing billiards at night after dinner was fun. The Valet staff were amazingly helpful, courteous and quickly got our car before going out each day and on returning to the hotel. They even offered us cold water before heading out for the day. Highly recommend staying here. Was the most pleasant stay.

The property was nice. Yoga teachers were great. The indoor pool is not particularly usable. The outdoor pool staff was friendly and excellent. The waitstaff at restaurants were mixed, some great, some not so great. The front desk was completely useless. They provided incorrect information when they managed to have any information at all. They contradicted was what written on their website, which would have been a better place to go for information. We asked for recommendations for restaurants with vegetarian food options. We were told by the front desk they had nothing. After finding a place on our own, we later discovered the same restaurant recommended on their website and we could have gotten a discount by presenting our hotel card. We called the front desk to confirm yoga times, and when they gave us the wrong information, we missed the class. The correct times are listed on the website.

Everything we needed was onsite, plus the Newport Harbor was a perfect walk or water taxi ride from the property!

Great location, lovely scenery. Food & service were very good. The place is sprawling almost too disjointed. Reception staff was incompetent - placed our family in several different areas.

Room was comfortable. Cleaning staff were good. Food in restaurants was very good. Extremely expensive with no amenities. No concierge. Everything had an additional cost added to exorbitant room rate. Pool was so hot that you couldn’t cool off . Filled with young kids so an adult couldn’t even take a swim.

We were in Newport for a family gathering. We had 6 rooms and no one had a complaint. The set is great between pool, kids activities, restaurants, bars and an amazing view. Staff was always polite and helpful.

My only nit would be why would you have the pool heated in August. It was so hot out and the pool was absolutely no relief or escape from the heat. Otherwise loved our stay and will be back.
