DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Charleston Airport

Clean hotel in a great location. I didn't like that parking was separate and for a fee. The only other issue I had was some of the furniture was dirty and in need of repair. Otherwise, I recommend this hotel.

It will do if you’re looking for a place to stay but I had issue with maintenance of the building and general appearance. Our room had staining on the floors, the toilet handle if not turned back would run the whole night and a lot of staining on the mattress and bed skirt. It’s a coastal hotel so expect humidity but there were also outdoor critters that made their way inside and the elevators were dirty every time we used them over our 2 day stay. Parking was also challenging as it shares a parking lot with the Home Suites next door. The staff were nice when we interacted overall. Sadly was never offered the Doubletree warm cookie.

The property and room was very well maintained. My only issue was the customer service on arrival.

The system was down and it took over 2hrs to be manually checked in

The staff was, hands down, helpful and friendly, going beyond the normal customer service and ensured efficient check-in. The grounds are well maintained and free of trash and debris. My only issue was the ants. My room was infested with ants. The AC was noisy and clanky. In addition, the toilet wouldn’t stop running. Over all, it’s a decent place to rest your head and clean-up.

Very clean, quiet and great staff.

First things first, check in was at 3 but the servers were down nationwide and they had to rely on manual check in, why did that result into me getting checked in at 10pm with a 1 year old on my hip, I’ll never know. Don’t pay for the $29 breakfast option BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED AND they only have STARBUCKS BREAKFAST AT $15/person, and they don’t mention it but you have to pay for parking on the premises, it was $14/night by a third party company called PMC, the hotel room deposit is $50 a night. And the options near this hotel is and was sketchy, I will never stay near North Charleston ever again after this stay. Too many hidden fees.

When I arrived someone was in my room, another guest although they gave me the key to my suite. I waited from 5p-9p to get access to my room. Then found out the air is was not working and they knew it. Then got up early Sunday morning to find muffin was covered in ants. They offered 15.00 voucher as compensation. Nah that is not the solution.

Very nice property!

No breakfast. Had to pay for parking. Up to date hotel. Beautiful. Clean.

Everything was great but there was no reason to charge for parking.

Paying for parking is ridiculous and it’s a third party I over payed accidentally and now having issue getting refund

Paying for parking was my only complaint.

We didn’t know that we had to pay to park and the staff did not tell us at check in.
