Customer service is amazing

The property was definitely dated overall. The gym was nice and clean. The room needs updated and the carpet, bed, furniture etc. was very worn but with that said it was clean. The bathroom was nice and it was very clean. My room was on the highway side of the building and extremely noisy. Honestly doubtful I would stay again. It just didn't live up to my expectations for the brand of hotel.

The Starbucks and bar were awesome!!

Once you’ve absorbed that blow get ready to be told the King size bed room you reserved weeks ago was given away to a guest who walked up the day of and was given your room. Lucky you! You and your wife can enjoy a room with TWO beds, each one about six inches wider than your kid’s twin bed at home. Once exhaustion from the day and the failures of the Double Tree corporate team finally gets the best of you and you start to nod off in your sliver of a mattress, you can listen all night to the air conditioner which sounds like a prop plane constantly circling the interior of your room. The very talented and soothing front desk team member remains the only positive part of this lodging experience. Save yourself time, money, and frustration and find another place to stay upon your next visit to the Charleston area.

Breakfast could be much better.

Rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The parking was overflowing and we parked for away, but we did come in late and there was a reunion and a wedding party. So it was to be expected I guess. All the guests were nice! Free beer for the horses,

I had a wonderful stay at the AC Hotel! The room rate was very affordable, especially with two friends splitting the cost for three nights. The location was perfect and made getting around Clearwater Beach super convenient. The staff was consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were super clean, modern, and comfortable, and the beds were incredibly cozy—definitely a plus after a long day out! I also really enjoyed the amenities and overall atmosphere of the hotel. One thing to be prepared for: overnight parking is $38/night, and there is a $100/day incidental hold. In my personal opinion, the incidental fee is a little high, but that’s just my perspective and it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Overall, I had a great stay and would absolutely consider staying here again the next time I’m visiting Clearwater Beach. Highly recommend! 🌴☀️🏨
