Old Field House

Breakfast was AMAZING, waffles offered in 4 different varieties with every topping you could imagine along with REAL maple syrup (NH not VT lol). Would not hesitate to stay here for our next trip to Storyland.

Our experience was wonderful! The owners were so very nice! The breakfast was delicious! It was close to the shopping yet tucked away for the quiet. There was a fabulous restaurant just across the street as well! We would definitely stay there again!

The property is nice just could use a face lift on appearance

This was a nice rustic lodge in a beautiful, quaint part of town. We stayed in the King suite with a spa bath, which we loved! It was very big and comfortable. The breakfast was good, especially the waffles! It was also very nice to see all the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels from the dining area. The owners, Rod and Linea, were so lovely and gracious to us, especially for this being our honeymoon! Just talking with them always felt like we've known them for a long time.

The property is in serious need of updating, bed was horrible, clutter everywhere outside, everything was old.

The owners were super sweet, the breakfast was amazing, and the location was so close to everything! The hot tub was a nice perk. Super cozy inn.

A huge plus is that we were offered free use of the laundry room at the facility. Breakfast area and food were great. Overall, the common areas were comfortable and warm. Room was somewhat small, with the vanity in the bedroom. The hosts were helpful. The facility was nice, but some areas need additional attention, ie cobwebs in ceiling beams.

Nice quiet place great breakfast friendly owners

Great location. Very cozy and hosts were great. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of day trip options from here. Close to town which has all the conveniences but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. We had a great stay. Very weak cell service (Verizon).

The staff is very friendly. Don't sleep on the free breakfast! The food is great and way better than anything you'd get at a hotel or air bnb. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub at night.

The owners were very nice. They served a good breakfast. Out dated, run down, not as pictured. Noisy, dusty, etc.

The coffee was good. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms were great. Nothing wrong with the rooms. Nothing wrong with the site eating breakfast. You got to enjoy the nature view. The hot tub was great. The pool was great.

Location and breakfast were excellent. Pool, hot tub and game room kept the kids entertained. Needs a deep clean.

An absolute wonderful New England style inn with fantastic grounds, scenery and facilities in the heart of the White Mountains but off the beaten path enough that you watch the hummingbirds at breakfast without hearing traffic in the distance. The owners operators are a sweet couple. The morning breakfast was terrific with custom made waffles and plenty of healthy options too. Great game and reading area. Swimming pool and hot tub. Perfect for couples and families. I have visited both ways. Charming. Rustic. Beautiful. It's like staying at a friend's house for the weekend. Really nothing. The parking lot is a little bit tight, mainly because vehicles have gotten bigger. Still there was enough parking.

The hosts were warm and friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The facilities were convenient.
