We had a wonderful stay at the Old Field H

My niece walked into the hotel and said it feels like staying with the grandparents...and she was absolutely right! This property is not a modern and anonymous hotel where you do not speak to people and deal with a lot of different staff. What you will find however is a friendly, family owned business where both owners have put in so much work and so much detail. There are games, toys, books and DVD's galore! The owners will be there during breakfast (actually making the eggs and waffles for you!) in the morning and tell stories about bears in the neighborhood and their family while sitting at the fire pit making smore's and socializing with other guests. The breakfast was amazing. We actually chose this property because everyone was raving about their waffles and their breakfast and I have to say people were not exaggerating. My teens also loved the game room with the ping pong table (among other things). We did not try the pool but looked at it and it looked clean and well kept. The room, while not furnished in a modern style, was clean, had free wifi, a TV, fridge, A/C and a DVD player. It was like going to visit your grandparents and it was perfect!

Clean, comfortable rooms and the owners were wonderful. Easy check in, and excellent breakfast! Great place for kids, with the pool, game room, and campfire with smores. Very welcoming place to stay!

Great Stay!! Minutes to story land, all the restaurants, etc. The breakfast is amazing and hosts are really welcoming! We booked 3 rooms and we enjoyed our stay.. Pool, game room and hot tub are a plus!

Breakfast was AMAZING, waffles offered in 4 different varieties with every topping you could imagine along with REAL maple syrup (NH not VT lol). Would not hesitate to stay here for our next trip to Storyland.

It is a great place to stay if you are in North Conway and trying to get to your favorite mountains.

Location was nice and quiet The front area needed some attention. Needed to be weeded, looked unkept

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The morning waffles, freshly made, were delicious.

Our experience was wonderful! The owners were so very nice! The breakfast was delicious! It was close to the shopping yet tucked away for the quiet. There was a fabulous restaurant just across the street as well! We would definitely stay there again!

Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and sweet, this was our 2nd choice since the hotel we originally booked was horrible. This was definitely an upgrade from that and was happy they had openings for us. The room was very small for 2 adults and 2 kids. The property is nice just could use a face lift on appearance

Cozy

This was a nice rustic lodge in a beautiful, quaint part of town. We stayed in the King suite with a spa bath, which we loved! It was very big and comfortable. The breakfast was good, especially the waffles! It was also very nice to see all the birds, chipmunks, and squirrels from the dining area. The owners, Rod and Linea, were so lovely and gracious to us, especially for this being our honeymoon! Just talking with them always felt like we've known them for a long time.

Great breakfast. Good location.
-
Hosts were exceptional! Breakfast food & conversation?? Facilities needed upgrades—inside & outside appearance
-
The property is in serious need of updating, bed was horrible, clutter everywhere outside, everything was old.
-
The owners were super sweet, the breakfast was amazing, and the location was so close to everything! The hot tub was a nice perk. Super cozy inn.

A huge plus is that we were offered free use of the laundry room at the facility. Breakfast area and food were great. Overall, the common areas were comfortable and warm. Room was somewhat small, with the vanity in the bedroom. The hosts were helpful. The facility was nice, but some areas need additional attention, ie cobwebs in ceiling beams.
