La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cleveland Airport West

This place was an absolute dump. Rusty bathtub with stains and mold, overflowing garbage cans outside, no remote for tv, doors broken, no iron. The worst thing was that the staff said they could not move us to another room after the first night, kept telling us to try later. The problem with room 101 was that it was next to the elevators and we had to listen to the constant noise from them. Never again.

I should not have paid for my stay.

My locks did not work on my door.

The bathroom tub needed a lot of work

This was the worst hotel stay I ever experienced. We were only allowed one room key? Though the room was booked for two. When we go to the room, there was no toilet paper in the room. The trash can had other peoples trash in it. The closet had someone else's jacket. There was someone else's sock in the corner. The water in the shower never got hot. The window casing was full of black mold. Then I found dried blood- some else's in the sheets. Outside the garden was full of overgrowing with weeds. Needless to say we cut our stay there short. I do not recommend.

The room was large.

I’ve stayed here a few times. The hotel is usually clean, so that’s a plus. The rooms are also in good shape and clean. This time the bathroom was not great. The tub had nasty spots on it, the old soap holder was torn off and the towel hook was torn off the door. The breakfast was good also! Overall 4.5 out of 5

The staff was very kind and rooms were clean.

Nice to have free breakfast and a gym but the property was not very well staffed or maintained. Totally fine for a quick one night stay!

Hot tub

The breakfast choices were terrible. Too limited. I couldn’t find anything that I liked. We were there 6 nights and never had anyone service our room. We had 6 days of trash and dirty towels. I asked for. Towels and we got them but they left the dirty ones and trash. They should have tidied the room and make the beds at least once in 6 days. We sure didn’t leave a tip. We won’t be back.

I would give zero stars if possible. Our room was not cleaned. There was trash in the bathroom, hair everywhere, the linens were noticeably dirty, there was an old bar of soap left in the sink, and the room was musty. The elevator and entryway were soaked with water from guests going back and forth to the pool. There were people sitting at the front door smoking constantly, which kept the doors open so the entire lobby smelled like smoke. There was a guest with a large dog that was barking and crying the room constantly and the person just kept yelling at it. It was disgusting. The front desk staff did issue the refund without question, but this place is not suitable to stay in.

They double booked so it was cancelled....

I will start on a positive note and say that the staff was very polite. Unfortunately the hotel was not well maintained. From the outside parking lot to the pool area, and the rooms, the property was a disappointment.

Room was nice and clean

There was a bedside lamp that I reported not operating the first morning after we checked in. It was never fixed. The room was never cleaned by housekeeping for our entire stay, but we had late-morning or early afternoon appointments each day and had hung the "DND" sign on the door. However, I expected that Housekeeping would at least check later in the day and leave a note asking for a good time to clean. The bathtub had visible dirt and debris in it, and part of it would wash down the drain each time we took a shower. During our entire stay, the rear entrance door from the parking lot was never closed firmly and locked. We felt like we were staying in a hotel that was in decline and vulnerable to being breached.
