Holiday Inn Express & Suites Norwood-Boston Area by IHG

Had I not had OneKeyCash applied to significantly lower my nightly rate, I would have been much more disappointed. It was a Holiday Inn, and the location was convenient and fairly close to the event we were attending. However, the walls were extremely thin, and loud TVs from the neighboring room kept the kids awake. I contacted the front desk to see if anything could be done, but nothing changed. To be fair, unless someone was willing to go knock on the door in the middle of the night, I'm not sure what options they had. At check-in, there was no mention of breakfast hours or checkout time, so we had to figure that information out on our own. We also had to set up the pullout bed ourselves, and the blankets were not already prepared. There were also some maintenance concerns, including open electrical outlets without covers. On the positive side, breakfast was good. This was a quick overnight trip, so the hotel served its purpose, but I wouldn't want to stay longer than one night or choose this particular location again.

As I understand this location gets sold out quickly when there’s an event, but to greet your guest by saying just making everyone aware your rooms may not be ready when your reservation was for a half an hour prior was not the greeting. Someone wanted after driving four hours. I’m not going to lie. I’m sure I had a bit of an attitude, but as a front desk person turning around and slamming things and making nasty faces was not appreciated either. When you first walk into the hotel, it has a musty smell. The elevator felt like it was going to break down every time you go into it a room I spent nearly $300 on none of the outlets workedby the bed. Two of the three lights in the room did not have lightbulbs in it. The bathroom didn’t have hand soap and the room itself smelled like mold now myself and my three children are sick.

Great stay and weekend in the Norwood area….loved the hotel, nice beds and super clean. We had a super restful night. The only complaint was the breakfast - very limited and simple.

I asked for a refund & they denied it. They kept my money even though I didn't & couldn't stay there with those conditions. Stay Away! O. Lewis

Great hotel if you're attending an event at Gillette Stadium. Its clean, staff are friendly. They offer free parking and continental breakfast which I was not a big fan of. Aside from that I would stay there again.

Well cleaned.

My room has the tv cables out from the wall and there was a screw that needed to be tight on the shower door. I was quite enough the surroundings. In overall on a 5 starts review I will give them 3.9 rate.
