Tru By Hilton Novi Detroit

This hotel is a little off the beaten path but it was clean and the staff was friendly. It was a little hard to get to due to so many roads being under construction. We just needed a place to stay after a wedding. This was comparably priced for the amenities we received.

outdated technology for charging.... no closet or drawers for clothes.....but excellent customer seivce..,.. clean and quiet... prepared breakfast...snack bar items for purchase... smoke free

Not much

I checked in, received a room and the room keys did not work. Went downstairs and they immediately gave me a new room. The room on the surface was fine, but little things I notice. The small shelf in the shower is falling off, the corners of the room were not cleaned with a rag, the TV remote did not work (but they gave me a new one). The breakfast was good, except they made the pancakes ahead of time and left them sitting where they got cold. It was mostly ok, but not really worth the price they were charging. Overall, a 6/10 rating, could be higher if they paid attention to the details.

Very clean and modern hotel

Very clean, comfortable bed, modern decor, coffee/tea available , great location and friendly staff. I had a room that adjoined with the room next to me. No problem with the locks on the door, but unfortunately, it was not sound proof. I could hear the guests talking. I'm glad I had earplugs.

the first room we checked into, the fridge was leaking on the floor. front desk immediately gave us a different room and some snacks for the trouble. the rooms do not have carpet, so they are a little noisy. especially when the neighbors were having a rowdy good time. the bathroom light fixture only had one side working and the shower door did not close all the way. the shampoo and conditioner supplied smelled amazing! the bed was comfortable.

GREAT LOCATION

I have stayed in Tru hotels before and I wasn’t aware you don’t get daily maid service. We stayed 4 nights and they never cleaned the room or made the bed. We were able to get clean towels daily by going to the desk. I was told if we wanted the room cleaned we could ask. The staff was amazing very nice and accommodating. I would stay there again for a short stay.

Rooms were great, staff were super nice and helpful, and we had an all-around great stay with our toddler!

Clean and well kept

They left me in a dirty room for 4 nights after requesting full service housekeeping each day. The only thing I got was an apology and on day 3, an offer to move into a clean room. At that point I did not have time to pack up and move. This was the worst experience I ever had with Tru by Hilton and I would not recommend this location. The staff is terrible and housekeeping is disgraceful.

Very comfortable beds, quiet and well maintained . Would stay here again

I just love how they greet me and my fiancé every time we visit!!! 10/10

Clean nice environment

Check in and checkout we’re fine, but the staff wasn’t the friendliest. The room was nice, but we checked under the sheets and the mattress was very stained, which grossed us out.
