The Baronette Renaissance Detroit-Novi Hotel

The rooms by the elevators are very noisy. We were moved when we asked which was appreciated.

Property is pretty and clean however, the shower head splashed water all over the place and when we let the front desk know we were told they don’t have engineering available at the time so we had 3 days of the shower spitting in our faces. We were told they didn’t have extra blankets and pillows because housekeeping wasn’t available. I don’t know if they’re short staffed or just focus more on the venues that are within the hotel. It wasn’t the worst stay but it wasn’t the best. For the price, which is decent, I would opt for another hotel in the future.

The entire property was beautiful and the staff Nancy was amazing What I did not like was I was offered two complementary breakfast tickets that unfortunately there was a miscommunication with the time and the management on duty would not offer another opportunity to experience the food there. This was the only hiccup that I disagree with and thought that management would at least give me another opportunity to try the food.

Great location, great service, popping hotel. Rooms are a little tired, but super clean and spacious.

Really enjoyed the stuff super nice and accommodating. The food was delicious. Only negative was that the air conditioner was extremely loud other than that. It was a great day. Thank you very much.

The rooms are nice and clean, and the staff are wonderful. Also, the restaurant attached is amazing if you have the time. It’s walking distance from the large mall next door, but there are few sidewalks, so please take care when walking. My only issue with the property is that the doors to the rooms have a large gap, resulting in us hearing many loud noises from the halls or other rooms near us. I would still stay here again!

Around the bed and the bed sheets are very dusty ! I sneezed and coughed the entire trip which has stopped since we left ! Also the bathroom waster takes long to get hot which isn’t normal

Paring was super easy and secure loved the complementary snacks and drinks there were superb!!

Everything was awesome for a surprise trip for my wife, in which I planned the morning of!!! Woke up and was like let's going! Thanking everyone for there hospitality! See you soon...

My stay was okay

Clean room, nice staff.

Location was alright. That it. Manger was rude. Build was old. Over priced. No pool no suitable for children. Would like my money back. Even customer service through booking could not help with any issues. Wanted to cancel room but was forced to stay and or pay.

If you book a room for 4 with breakfast, only two will receive breakfast - $27 vouchers. Not mentioned anywhere on booking! Sometimes there is a buffet breakfast, sometimes not. And if you have to order breakfast off the menu (which takes much longer - not ideal if you have to go to work) because there is no buffet, an omelet+ cappuccino cost you more than the voucher and you have to do the stupid ask for bill, get bill, credit card, sign for tip game.
