TownePlace Suites by Marriott St. Louis O'Fallon

The location was excellent, putting my family in close proximity to shopping, dining and recreational activities. We were greeted warmly upon arrival, and the complimentary fruit infused water was a delight. The lobby area was inviting, and I loved the weather board and map of the town. My children enjoyed the pool every day of our stay, but on the last day, it looked dirty and there was trash through the space, so we cut our time short. The rooms were very spacious as was the bathroom. We were able to control the temperature with ease, making it comfortable for us. There were plenty of outlets to charge our electronics. We took advantage of the kitchenette, and found everything we needed. The stove light was out, and I notified the front desk. It was replaced the same evening. My area of concern was the bathroom. There were strands of hair in and around the tub and toilet. And the body wash was empty, and if the tub was cleaned, I’d like to think that detail would not have been missed. I was equipped with supplies to clean it myself thankfully. Breakfast was quite delicious, and the options varied from one day to the next. The cheese omelet was my favorite by far. The beverage bar with hot coffee and tea was a welcome treat, too. I traveled without my work or personal laptop, so when I received a request to send an email to all employees for work, I was able to use the lobby computer. Overall, this was a great hotel. It would be our first choice on future visits to the area.

Staff was helpful. Breakfast was plentiful, nice assortment. Some areas of room needed better vacuuming. Would be helpful to have couple more handicapped parking spots.

I liked the idea of the kitchenette, except upon arrival, there was no oven. We had planned to make pizzas for dinner to save money, but were unable to do so. The room was very tight. It would have been nice to have had more room between the beds. Suites usually have a bit more space, in our past experience.

Liked the kitchen set up and definitely came in use!

There was so much noise coming from the room above us, it sounded like a herd of elephants running around. We were watching tv, so we just tolerated it until 9 pm, when we were ready for bed. We called down to the desk to report it. On our second call around 930, we were told “ it’s a birthday party sir “and basically get over it. At 945 pm, we called to request a more quiet room in a different area of hotel. We were moved at 10 pm. We asked for some compensation in the morning, but no response. The accommodations are nice, but the have wooden floors under the carpet and you can hear every footstep above your room.

The walk in shower, comfy bed and a kitchen that you can cook in, breakfast was also good great selections One of the aisle didn't get hot but I still manage to cook dinner
