Motel 6 Oak Creek, WI

Very friendly staff and it was very welcoming for the price.

You couldn't control the TV as far as turning the volume down and you couldn't turn the TV off either,as a matter of fact it was on already when I got there and was on from Thursday till Saturday morning, I looked at it close and because of the way it was set up you couldn't unplug it !!! The floor was sticky to the point I kept shoes on until bed time. My stay wasn't worth the money !!! NEVER AGAIN !!! Seriously they should Tear this place down, it would cost too much to remodel it!!! I shouldn't have to leave a review like this but it is definitely warranted !!! SORRY... NOT SORRY 😔 !!!

Room was dirty, ac didn’t work because there was no plug in close enough. Window was wide open when we checked in with tv on. Leaving us to believe it was never even properly cleaned. There wasn’t anyone at the desk for 20 minutes

This looks NOTHING like the pictures. The room was filthy. You can tell they don’t clean them, I wiped things down with a disinfecting wipe and it was so dirty when I was done. the bed was hard and there was hair globs on the wall. I don’t know if the floors had ever been swept.

The room is very simple. No fridge or microwave. Which is fine, but it’s so dirty. There is mold in the shower, the floors are dirty. I found dog treats on the floor. So much dust on the counters. The top blanket was dirty, stained so I had to ask for a clean one. The whole building needs an update, but most importantly it should be cleaned.

😕 just not worth it

Motel has no elevator. Had to carry 3 large suitcases up filthy smelly stairway. Hallway carpet full of stains with a bad odor. First night a pair of prostitutes had men in and out of the room till 4 am knocking on the door and slamming it on on their way out and you can hear all the noise. Second night African American guy yelling till 2 am in the same room next door. Adviced front staff and I was totally ignored. Shower drain was clogged with water almost filling the whole tub during shower. AC didn't turn on or had no power to it all buttons were worn down and broken when I opened the window the screen was torn and filled with pet hair as well as curtains Advised front desk and was also ignored. We stayed 4 nights and was terrible. I walked from bed to restroom and my black socks were full of pet hair as if room didn't get swept and mopped. I will never stay here again. It's a horrible motel. Very ghetto and worn down, smells like a homeless foster the second you walk in . Towels and pillows had a foul odor too.I don't recommend at all . STAY AWAY not suitable if you have children.

Great staff

Everything was bad. Brought a girls rugby team for a tournament in Milwaukee. Stains on pillows, no towels. We kept getting assigned rooms that were already taken. And vice versa.

I was assigned a room, but when I went up to it, it was already occupied. I went downstairs and had to wait in line again to be reassigned. The next morning, a woman knocked on my door, because they had to double check on who was in what room, as there were multiple mix ups. Probably because if they had a system for assignments, they weren't using it, they wrote the room assignments by hand on a sheet of paper. The room itself was kind of clean, but the bed frame was broken, and it looked like someone tried to tear the outlets out of it. Because of that, they didn't work, neither did the wifi, and my room had poor cell service.

I reserved room on hotels.com as pay at property. Went to check in and was told my room was canceled cuz my card was declined. Even though this was set as pay at property. Never got any kind of notification or email and as far as it looked on hotels.com I was good and ready to check in. They had no others rooms except one room with only 1 bed and we needed 2 beds and the cost was much more than what reserved for on hotels.com. The only other hotels we could find in the area were at least $300 more than what we initially reserved at. This is horrible service and really put us in a bad position when we didn’t have time to deal with it.

The place is great if you just need a place to sleep.

Clean room include the bed sheet

Unless you have no money for a hotel room, save your money! This was a filthy room, damaged shelves, smoke detector covered in plastic bag, large stains in the hall carpet, a months worth of hand prints on the lobby doors, staff was "ok" and they make you sign your life away with the rule sheet. seemed more like a homeless shelter than a hotel! I checked out immediately after check in

Close to a bus stop, which I use daily. No housekeeping during my stay. (I have not had any on prior visits) Any needs, go to them.

This was the worst day I’ve ever had in my entire life at Motel 6. It was rundown. The lot barely worked on the door. They had a boxspring on the bed for a mattress, and no way to get ice.

I would have rather slept in a car than at this motel. I realize that you get what you pay for but, gross! Everything was dirty, rundown and disgusting. Never again!
