La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Ocala

Fire alarm was pulled at 5am, room was not really clean but this was a last minute booking and was sufficient for the 5 hours of sleep we needed before driving home

The parking lot was also completely empty which should have been a sign for us in the first place. We also talk to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager and they said that there was no manager on site and they wouldn't be back until monday.Then, we asked if they had their phone number, and they said they did not have a phone number for their manager. When we went there on Monday to talk to them again the manager said they couldn't do anything for us because we booked through expedia and that we had to file a claim through them. We tried calling the contact number on the app and it said the number was unavailable and then when I went to file a claim, all of our trip information was wiped out. This was a very upsetting experience for us as we had to leave and pay for another hotel which was, by the way, cheaper than this one.

Mandatory $100 charge on credit card at check in for “incidentals”. Dish network, 25 inch TV with NO remote control, judgmental checkin staff, decent breakfast, room smells pretty bad of mold and mildew which we don’t like at all. Bed was very comfortable and lots of parking about the best 2 things about this place. Room was extremely basic and smelled bad. DO NOT like any hotel taking $100 not just holding a credit card but actually taking the money that is unacceptable practice

My tv was not working & control missing. The desk manager did all he could, then moved me to another room with a lovely working TV! Cleanliness & cheerful front desk man… sorry don’t remember his name.

First morning there they were already out of eggs, sausage, pancakes and waffle batter. Came back around 2pm to clean up and all water was shut off so went in pool for an hour and still no water when returned to room. Water finally turned on but next morning no hot water so it was a cold shower morning before check out. Room was damp and musty, floor was so wet we were worried about falling. No exhaust fan in bathroom either!

We had reserved 4 rms. There were multiple baby roaches in the room, my socks turned black when I walked across the floor , it was filthy, window was not sealed in a closed position allowing warm air in, the phone never worked. Over all very unclean and some equipment in poor repair. I feel some of these issues have been ongoing for some time, not just 1 employees fault.

I used to stay here alot when visiting family because I am usually traveling with a pet. This stay was just for the night on my way out of town. Staff super friendly, it's right off the interstate, clean, room was very roomy and reasonable price. Had queen bed, microwave, mini fridge- however fridge did not work very well and beeped constantly so I turned it off.. it was probably just a setting but I was to tired to mess with it since I didnt need it, I just let them know on my way out. Bed was comfy, AC worked great thats important in Florida! I would stay there again.

Property has had some renovations I dont think they are done yet. The elevators one didnt work properly and they had lots of odors. I couldnt press certain numbers. Breakfast was ok but offered cereal and had no milk available. Ran out and it was early. Personally my hotel I am running out to store to get it. However, I was impressed how nice the staff was. Definitely a plus. They need to finish more upgrades in the rooms. No usb charging offered by bed table no alarm clock.

Never again this place is nasty

Staff were very kind , cleanliness was horrible walking in had a stinch and rat poison boxes all in the hallways by the room doors which was disturbing then there was a cheeseburger left in the microwave wasn’t sure if that was a welcome gift the shower was not draining by the time you got wet you was standing in an inch of water but nasty to say the least the pool was gross the gym however was the cleanest part of the whole hotel , I changed rooms after the first night and had a better experience as far the shower went but fully was very nasty I will not be returning to this particular Quinta that’s for sure .
