I personally would never stay here again or recommend anybody to stay here due to the fact that they kept overcharging me on things until I called them and they probably gave me my refund the staff they acted like they had no idea what was happening so I had to have Expedia call them to get the situation fixed

A decent hotel for the price, but the cleanliness could use a little improvement in the elevators, as well as the overflowing trash can in the ice machine area. I utilized the gym and pool which were both great. The breakfast options and timing were just what we needed for our stay. The staff was attentive to our needs when we requested more towels.

Shower water stayed in tub about a foot. Not draining properly. Hit fixed next day. Housekeeping should have reported when tub was cleaned. Overall appearance of room and hallways are dirty looking.

They need better mattresses

No towels, the receptionist only brought one after we asked and we were 3 people we asked her for 2 more and she never showed back up. The sheets were stained, ac was leaking water. Not clean there were construction equipment next yo out room. Not a good experience

The room and bathrooms have to be update and also clean better, the a/c dust are unbeliable dirty.

The walls had holes in it, with cables sticking out Paint chipped off the walls Dirty

Staff were very professional and helpful. Room was dirty, floors and windows. Low profile toilets made them unusable.

We come to Ocala several times a year for swim meets. I decided to try this hotel, hoping it'd be somewhere we would like to stay in the future. We will NEVER come back unless I read a lot of stellar reviews saying they've cleaned themselves up. We stayed in 2 different rooms, the first was the worst. Second wasn't much better. The lobby is nice, staff is polite, rooms are horrible and in serious need of TLC. We found 2 small cockroaches in our bathroom our last night there. The fitness room does not have anything to clean or wipe down equipment after use. I asked the front desk if they had anything, they did not. They said housekeeping cleans it every morning. I don't think they do because the equipment was smudged and trash was on the treadmill. Small enough to be hidden until you got on the treadmill. The fitness room should be equipped with cleaning supplies for guests to wipe down the equipment. The bathroom off of the lobby was filthy and only had the small bar soap provided in the rooms. That is gross in a communal bathroom. They need liquid soap!! I think this place is being run on a shoestring, or the person managing it is cheap. Broken furniture, banged up doors and walls, chipping paint, no locks for bathrooms, the list goes on.

Great place to stay!

It smells strongly of mustiness, looks very old, and is in need of maintenance. On top of that, as soon as I opened the room door, I found a cockroach, and minutes later, another one in the bathroom. The only positive aspect was the pool, which looks good—as does the hotel's exterior.

Fire alarm was pulled at 5am, room was not really clean but this was a last minute booking and was sufficient for the 5 hours of sleep we needed before driving home

The parking lot was also completely empty which should have been a sign for us in the first place. We also talk to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager and they said that there was no manager on site and they wouldn't be back until monday.Then, we asked if they had their phone number, and they said they did not have a phone number for their manager. When we went there on Monday to talk to them again the manager said they couldn't do anything for us because we booked through expedia and that we had to file a claim through them. We tried calling the contact number on the app and it said the number was unavailable and then when I went to file a claim, all of our trip information was wiped out. This was a very upsetting experience for us as we had to leave and pay for another hotel which was, by the way, cheaper than this one.
