Great hotel

We stayed two nights. The room was nice and clean, although a kettle would have been great to make tea. I was expecting clean towels and the room cleaned after the first night but this was not done. Breakfast was not bad, hot and cold items and a good variety. Staff were very pleasant.

Upon arriving, the trash in the room was full from the previous guest. We had clean sheets and towels though. Staff was ok. We had an older gentleman check us in the first night and he laughed when he saw how long we were staying and asked “what could you possibly be doing HERE for that many days?” We also needed a way to freeze ice packs for my son’s insulin and when asked about storing the ice packs in their freezer, the same gentleman gave my husband an attitude like it was an inconvenience. All the other stay we talked too or worked with were wonderful! Breakfast was good, a lot of choices for everyone. Pool was nice and heated. Air conditioning in the room wasn’t great, but it’s Florida. It’s hot, humid and that AC is working hard. 6/10 rating. Would possibly stay again.

Great hotel

The original room was unsatisfactory and was quickly changed in the morning. Staff were receptive and professional in addressing my concerns. The cleanliness and appearance of the hotel have not been maintained, as I have stayed here multiple times for FAST events. Also, I was disappointed that parking was $10/day on top of accommodation charges. Will most likely not stay here again. It's a shame.

Our room was clean and spacious! Breakfast was pretty good. We enjoyed the pool and location.

The hotel was very clean, staff very nice.

Staff were friendly. Nice hotel. I’m a clean freak so bathroom could have been cleaner but not bad.

We have previously stayed at this property and found it to be acceptable with relatively large and well appointed rooms. This time felt a little different. Sometimes you can feel a little bit of neglect. The room we checked into showed a bit of age and some updating should be done "around the edges"...bathroom, etc. Lighting is a little inadequate, as well. We checked into a room with a TV that was not working. We notified the gentleman at the desk who was helpful but it was apparent that he was the only person on duty at the time (checked in around 4 in the afternoon). He had to ask a new guest to wait while he went up and helped us into the room next door where everything seemed to be in working order. Management, take note that we appreciated his support but were a little bewildered that a property of that size and affiliation (Marriott) would be considered adequately staffed with only one person on duty. Overall it was fine, but just OK and seemed to have slipped since our previous stay. Didn't hang for breakfast the next day as we had to leave early.

When I got there I told them I was only staying 4 nights ! They said I reserved with Expedia and they couldn’t help me . I couldn’t get ahold of Expedia until the following week and was told nI would be charged anyway ! So much for using Expedia !
