When we arrived, we were able to use the pool and park until our room was ready. However, we were a bit early. Upon walking through the property, we were surprised to find it wasn’t like a resort at all. The pool was absolutely disgusting; it was green and you could see hair floating around. Not to mention, the chlorine was so strong that it burned our eyes just walking by. The game arcade was very small and consisted of only a few claw machines. There were two bars, but only one was in use at a time. The property itself looked worn out, and the stairways had a strong odor. Our room wasn’t too bad, but we had to flip the fuse box switches multiple times to make the dishwasher and stove work. Despite these issues, the staff was amazing. However, we won’t be staying here in the future.

Side balcony ocean view was great, room was clean and the staff was helpful. The onsite restaurant/bar was great too!

The suite, the pool, easy beach access and easy access to stores The floor felt dirty on arrival, but the cleaning staff came promptly to assist. Also the toilet felt unstable and needed to be regrouted and tightened but was also partially taken care of quickly.

It was a very nice place too stay. Very family friendly. I didn’t like that you have to call for cleaning of the room. Also the pool are should have certain times set aside for Adults only and the pool water was very murky as if people used it as a toilet which made us not get in

    - Hotel Wifi coverage on our iPhones was terrible in the Atrium area and kept dropping randomly in our room. - We found a number of items in our original room that were not cleaned including beetles crawling behind the toilet. - We were moved to another room after voicing this concern as well as another concern of a neighboring guest smoking marijuana within the atrium at night which caused us great distress. Additionally we were given credit to use within the hotel and its restaurant/shops because of this. - There were random stains on towels, bedding, and curtains in both rooms that were supposed to be "clean" when provided to us. - The parking garage was extremely narrow to traverse with a common family-sized SUV (Jeep Grand Cherokee L). - The pool in the atrium was over chlorinated yet very cloudy and dirty in general at the same time. Additionally, the staff was unable to keep an adequate amount of towels available. Overall, the property appears to be dated and not very well maintained.

Loved having the second floor access to the beach and outside bar.

Oceanfront is the only pros for this hotel Old, not clean, no breakfast, high price, no chairs or umbrellas included with the reservation and you have to pay extra rental fee ~$50-75 per half day use for that from a third party.

The staff are polite and friendly, but the room cleaning could be a little better. Breakfast wasn't very tasty; I don't know about the other dishes or meals served at the hotel restaurant. Overall, the hotel is good, the location is great, and the atmosphere is nice, too.

Suite spacious Bathroom too right A/c vent right over the bed. Not a good idea. Bathroom can only light with crazy loud exhaust bad idea All in all a good few days

Good hotel for a family, the layout is confusing at first. Lobby is on first floor but you have to take elevator to 2nd floor to get to pool level, then take stairs down to get to beach. We stayed in the condos and it was great for a family. Only complaint is not sponge for dishes, no brooms to sweep up sand. They don’t do daily room service so you have to call to ask for things. They we

The indoor pool was nice enough, but gated in. Would be nice if they expanded that area to include more chairs and have more room to move around. A person dressed as a dolphin came out to wave at the kids when we were at the pool. There was also a mermaid show that was more of a meet and greet thing than an actual show. The 2 mermaids gave little kids tattoos and swam around with the kids after. It wasn't an actual swim show performance with music. It was still an added bonus though. They have a mini game room section but some were not working. Would be nice to have more kiddy games instead of the extra claw machines. The rubber ducky claw machine with the dinosaur mouth as the claw was cute though. Food at the restaurant was great. We ate lunch there. Would be nice to have more options but still yummy. Breakfast was delicious and the space was nice, big and clean. Quick access to the beach is what makes this place so great too. Beach was not crowded at all for such a nice day in August. No loud groups and was very enjoyable.

The floor in my room was so dirty that bottoms of our socks were dark brown. I asked them to clean it, and then I had to ask again, only to get an average clean floor. The balcony was in terrible shape. We had a cabana room, on the ground floor. The gate was rusty, dirty and had a broken lock. The recent upgrade was so poorly appointed with very cheap fixtures. The hotel was nicer before the renovation. The cement was crumbing in areas. You had to request housekeeping, and it was minimal, just fresh towels and emptying the trash. I will not stay at the Princess Royale again.
