Princess Royale Resort is a family friendly hotel. The food is great and the hotel rooms are newly renovated and clean. Direct access to the beach from the hotel makes it even better. One thing I do wish the hotel included is free beach umbrellas and chairs. Daily rental of an umbrella and three chairs cost $80 a day, which is a bit expensive considering their hotel room rates. Be sure to bring your own beach umbrella and chair to avoid that high cost.

The beach view and amenities was great but the rooms were a little bit rougher than I expected.

I would definitely vacation again.

Feeling stuck, we reached out to the front desk for advice. A huge thank you to the manager, Paula and Alan, who was on the staff. They went far beyond what anyone could have expected. Paula spent a great deal of time calling around and searching for an auto shop that might be open. When that didn’t work, she asked Alan to take a look at our tires. Based on Alan’s recommendation, we were finally able to locate a shop that was open on the Fourth of July, and they were able to repair our tire so we could safely make the drive home. Their kindness, initiative, and genuine willingness to help turned a very stressful situation into a manageable one. We are incredibly grateful to Paula and Alan for going above and beyond. They are a wonderful example of outstanding customer service, and their care made a lasting impression on our family.

The beach view is amazing
-
They dont have any place to wash your feets when you come out the beach to entry to the hotel

Staff is nice and helpful. Room was clean. Water pressure too hard

Love the hotel and how clean it is the staff is pretty nice, however disliked the pool because people comes from the beach to wash the sand off including their sandals, the hotel has two showers outside my guess if there is a line people won’t wait and they just come to the pool to rinse the sand off, there is no excuse for that I visited the beach and I rinse myself outside. Also hate the fact that the room doesn’t have rugs, and walking without sandals you feel the sand all over the floor I had to take a trip to go buy a broom at the store other than that I loved the hotel and I will come back again.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and well cared for, which is the most important. We had a very nice Queen Oceanview Suite on the fifth floor with a separate large bedroom and a nice living room area. The suite had 2 very comfortable beds, a kitchenette with a large refrigerator, including an ice maker, 2-burner stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, and a Keurig, which was very convenient. We brought a small toaster as they are not included. The balcony is small but has two Adirondack chairs, nice for relaxing and enjoying a perfect view of the pretty ocean. The hotel is located more in the quieter area, away from the boardwalk, which is the area we prefer. We did decide to check out the boardwalk and have a bite to eat, and easily found free parking on the side streets right at the boardwalk. There is also a strip shopping center right across from the hotel with Lombardi’s excellent Italian food, a liquor store and bar, and a Candy Kitchen store that has some of the best milk chocolate we have ever had. We actually have an additional 4-night stay scheduled for August, that we extended to 5 nights, after our great stay at the Princess Royale. We are definitely looking forward to our next stay.

I am not one to exaggerate for reviews, so believe me when I tell you this resort was wonderful. The rooms were super clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was great. We had a suite and the kitchen was spotless. We had a side view balcony and the view of the beach was still great. The deck restaurant (forgot name) has a nice bar, tables, with palm trees for the island feel. The pool is large compared to other hotels/resorts. Outside tables and the firepit was nice. Definitely going back.

We stayed in the family condo- the room was clean, but for lodging that can sleep 8 people, they only gave us 4 sets of towels so we had to keep asking for more. The staff were nice, but some of them had issues with understanding English. We asked for specific items and were sent something entirely different. The beach was awesome. No breakfast option, but a Starbucks was available with limited selections or a sit down restaurant in a conspicuous location. We walked to Dunkin Donuts most days. The restaurant that served lunch and dinner (outside near the beach) was good. It also had live music. However, if you don’t want to walk around a resort/ beach with you id on you, then forget about being served an alcoholic beverage…ridiculous.
