Bonita Beach Hotel

On arrival room wasn’t ready for 2 and a half hours after check in time. When we finally got into our room the room was extremely warm. I asked the front desk if we could get it check out and she said it wasn’t her problem. The next day I asked a different worker and she was much more helpful and got maintenance into our room right away. The AC wasn’t fixed, but they did add a portable AC and that cooled off the room and was tolerate. As for the room itself more than half of the outlets did not work, the shower still had sand from previous guest, the tap in the shower dripped entire stay, and sheets and a towel had stains on them. This was the second time I stayed here and the first time was much better than the second.

THERE WAS NO MENTION THAT THE UNIT HAD NO DISHES, GLASSES. OR SILVERWARE CLEANING STAFF SUPPLIED SOME PAPER PLATES AND CUIS

The pool needed to be cleaned very murky and also it’s very small. You would think they would have a bigger pool and more clean. My whole stay I did not use the pool at all.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Bonita Beach Hotel. My girls loved the pool and the access to the beach was great. Getting the premium room was fantastic. Great view. Would recommend

Great location if you’re looking to hit the beach. A 15 min drive from the main boardwalk / attraction . The room I had was equipped with a portable AC. Odd being most hotels have central air . The exhaust / vent was out of the balcony door which didn’t let it lock . Which was a safety concern . I called the front desk they did give me another room. The next room seemed to have central air and the balcony door did lock . The air was working for a few hours then seemed to be stuck on 79 degrees remainder of my stay . Very uncomfortable/ warm for my liking . My nephew was also with me and slept on the pull out couch. He ended up with bite marks on his arm that appeared shortly after laying down. I can’t say what it was . But that was concerning as well. Overall 5/10 .

We arrived at Bonita Beach on 8/9 to find that our room was not ready at check-in. So we went to the pool and had an ok time. The pool was smaller than expected. When 430 came around are room still wasn't ready. It was not ready until 5pm. Several people in the hotel lobby waiting for a room. Ridiculous. Then we get to our room, the air conditioning does not work. The hotel receptionist said it would not be fixed until the next day! Totally unacceptable! They advertise that is has been renovated but the only thing that changed was the colors. The bathroom tub was nasty and scuffed up and the beds were hard. Spend your money elsewhere!

The indoor pool was very cold and not very well maintained. There are no towels provided for the pool so you have to bring some from the hotel room. The elevator is very slow and had many problem during our stay there.

Lo recomiendo es un hotel muy limpio, los cuartos muy amplios. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia .

The tv was small size but not bad , the table was really loose , when ask the front to see if the staff can change some sheets on bed they never came by to do it . It was ok

We stay here every year. We love how close it is to the beach. We love the updates they’ve made, Friendly staff, full size fridge, rooms are a great size. Only thing we don’t like are the older TV’s.

Everything was good except the room was very dirty and linen also cleaning people needs to do better anyways very close to beach and good staff city view

Room was clean and well stocked. Had a full size fridge. Large room.

The whole building was hot no A/C. Our room A/C was broken our first 24 hours there they couldn’t fix it so they brought a portable A/C that didn’t do anything really and we had to leave our sliding door unlocked our whole stay which was unsafe. Highly disappointed! They gave us a 15% discount but for $800 something for 2 nights no A/C is ridiculous. Not to mention the unit was so clogged with dust and we had asked them to clean it and they did not. Oh and we weren’t the only one without A/C either we spoke to multiple guest who were going through same scenarios.

The place has been updated and seemed clean with new carpet, but certain things were not "newly renovated", like they claim. The tile in the bath and kitchen was older and was all chipped in our room, and the bathroom counters were obviously not new. Shower curtain smelled like mold a bit, but overall the room was decent and the the a/c didn't smell funny, which is a common theme these days for hotel rooms. The beds are very very firm, too firm actually, with not much padding on top of the springs. We had a room which was on the north side and was only second room back, so if you are thinking it's an Ocean view, look somewhere else. It's the second building row back, so the walk isn't too far and you don't have to cross the highway. The indoor pool area was too hot in the summer for our liking, even with the big doors open, and was very strong with a Clorine bleach smell, which is not surprising, but we visited a neighboring outdoor pool and didn't notice the same, even after getting in.
