Residence Inn by Marriott Ocean City

That it was close to the beach. The room could have been a little cleaner, and the deck was dirt staff didn’t care about it, so we couldn’t sit out there. No privacy on decks from the other rooms. The room was not comfortable at all. Place needs to be updated, THE ROOMS AND BALCONY!!

Room was so clean and bed was very comfortable and breakfast was very good many options and Staff was great . W would differently come again.

Bathtub didn’t drain, asked to have fixed and never got taken care of .

Spaceous rooms and great water views. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The sink in the bathroom had a slow drain. When you take the stopper out it drains quickly. Thankful for the breakfast but the eggs were not as hot as I would have liked them. Overall a great stay!

Average breakfast w limited variety as the same items were repeated daily with cold coffee. Rooms were very clean but beds were hard and there were several large house flies. Inflexible cancellation and change policies on event weekends even w 29 days notice (beware of cancellation clauses are jacked up to 30 days.) Was not informed about $15 daily parking fees at check-in. Bartender was nice and they did offer karaoke 1 night. Decent location with great view from balcony. Overall would have hoped for better from a Marriott especially when paying a premium rate but being told I would not accumulate BonVoy room night credits.

The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great.

We arrived at 3:00pm and was not allowed to check in until 4:25pm. They charged $15 to park.

Pet friendly, nice outdoor pool with pool bar!

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. I travel with my own coffee, pot and coffee because I find that there is not enough in the room and I don’t wanna be on a time schedule to get it with the free breakfast because I am on vacation. The doors to the room tend to stick and not shut all the way on their own would be the only issue that I can mention. You just have to make sure that you are closing the door fully when you leave or when you enter the room.

Rooms were very clean and spacious nice full size fridge, pool was great awesome view of bay one of the best views! Close to restaurants, only real downside was elevators very small only 2 of them seemed to always be waiting for a free elevator.

This was such an excellent hotel experience. The room was fabulous. The staff was fantastic. We will definitely come back and i highly recommend it for a relaxing stay on the bay. If you are beach bound it might be a challenge but it's worth it for this hotel

The breakfast was good every morning and glad they switched up the menu every day. I love that fruit, water, and coffee are available all day as they do come in handy. We loved just sitting in the lobby chatting for a bit relaxing before going in with our day. Plus the view from our balcony of the bay was amazing. The only thing that was an inconvenience was our hotel door. It’s like they repaired them all or something but you have to really push to get in and out. They stick and you can hear your neighbors door when it’s being slammed closed every time they come or go including ourselves. But still our favorite hotel at the beach

My main issue was attention to cleanliness and detail. The room looked tidy at first glance, but the bedding and towels had the same musty, damp smell, as if they had not been dried properly. The bathroom also seemed incompletely prepared: the toilet lid was left open, there was no conditioner, the lotion bottle had already been half used, and the facial tissue box was nearly empty. These are small things individually, but together they made the room feel as though housekeeping had done only a quick surface-level reset rather than thoroughly checking it for the next guest. Breakfast was very basic, with limited choices and minimal extras. It felt more budget-conscious than what I expected from the appearance of the hotel. The staff were perfectly fine. I had no issues with any of the employees, and my concerns were mainly about the housekeeping standards and amenities, not the staff or their service. Overall, none of these issues were severe enough to ruin my stay. There was no obvious trash or major mess. The spacious room and beautiful view were definite positives. Overall, it was an okay stay—just closer to a 3-star experience than the more upscale impression the decor gives.
