Tidelands Caribbean Hotel and Suites

Close to beach room was fairly clean I have been staying there for years and never had to pay$$ 20 00 a day parking!! I never read anywhere or was i notified of the charge until I checked it!! Iam not happy losing $$$$ 60.00 more dollars from my budget

From the moment of checking in, things were not as pleasant as I’d hope it would be. I was told I had to pay for parking per night, which was not stated prior to booking that parking was an additional fee. I needed another parking spot for my guests, that I was sharing a room that fits 6 people. I was told I could only pay for 1 parking spot. I had to do street parking so that my guest could park in the lot. Next, the WiFi was not accessible. I explained to the concierge that I could not connect to the WiFi. She couldn’t help me on the spot, so she had to reach out to the manager. I couldn’t wait because I needed to get connection instantly, therefore I had to leave the premises to get internet access. Lastly, a little less than 2 hours prior to checking out, a staff knocked on the door to tell me and my guests that we had to leave. I felt like I was rushed and that my time and money spent was not important. I’m truly disappointed with the service I received.

I like the fact that they had King suites that had two king-size beds. The location was great because it was right on the boardwalk so we were able to walk to a lot of different things. The parking was horrible. You only got one parking pass so if you had a big family and had to bring more than one vehicle, this is not the place to stay. The staff was OK, but I could never understand a word they were saying because they were foreign.

The beach was close, but you had to pay for parking and only allowed 1 car!

The hotel is a great location downtown. We have a room with two kings and it was tons of space for our family. Room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Room is outdated but for the price it was perfect. The pools didn't open til 10am and 11am so that was a late start for having kids. The biggest issue was only one elevator for the building but they do have two sets of steps. Front desk was very helpful. Parking is $20 per day.

The front desk staff and maintenance crews were very helpful. The room was clean but had leftover cleaning residue on the surfaces. The poolside bar was amazing and a great place to grab food and hangout. The pools were not the most clean but they good enough to hang out for a weekend. Heads up, the cleaning crew will show up around 9:30-10:00am every morning and will knock regardless if you have the Do Not Disturb sign on. They will also continue to knock until you answer the door.

Room need clean

2nd stay here, good location. The pool bar has good food. Beds comfy Expensive property for dirty rooms. Didn’t have our floor cleaned the entire time. Refrigerator was defrosted prior to check in, was leaking the entire time. Next door neighbor was evicted at 11pm, police were there right outside our door until almost 1am while they packed, couldn’t sleep that last night at all.

The room was not as clean as it could have been, it needs some updating. The new restaurant by the pool is amazing! Great food and great vibe. The rooms definitely need some TLC. Need to upgrade the kitchen as well. The little fridge wasn’t the best and stove is super old. No safe in the room either which would be helpful. Our balcony door didn’t lock either. Overall it wasn’t terrible but could have been better.
