We have stayed at other locations on the boardwalk that we rate very high. The difference is those hotels have better things in the hotel, like a restaurant while Park Place can’t be beat for its location

What an amazing hotel we stayed on the seventh floor with a beautiful balcony view of the ocean every day we started our morning watching the sunrise from our balcony and we started a day early and you go out to the beach and have your chair set up for you around 3 PM you head up to the pool to take a nice swim before you head upstairs and get ready for your evening. There are so many incredible restaurants around we love the location because the walk down to the Inlet was perfect about 2 1/2 Miles there and back. The room is spectacular it’s clean and at night they offer you a coffee bar that we would bring up to our room and spend our evening on the balcony overlooking the beautiful ocean and hearing the sound of waves it’s the perfect getaway the prices are phenomenal the staff is amazing I can’t wait to go back next year. We went there 36 years ago on our honeymoon and we celebrated our 36 wedding anniversary in the town we really love.

Bathroom need up saying and cleaning, balcony needs updating, you get charged $20 per day for umbrella and bikes, this should be a option especially for senior guest, they call it complementary, but there is a charge, and they say it’s because you booked through a third-party in other words they don’t like it when we book from Expedia, so you get discharged for the umbrella and the cows and also for a bike, but they never tell you where to go pick it up at. I don’t see any on the resort.

The hotel was very close to the beach and only a few minutes walk to the inlet. It has lots of accommodations like a pool, outdoor bar with plenty of seating area and easy access to the boardwalk. The staff was very helpful getting us checked in and even with an extra night of stay.

Mid. Staff was nice. Could have been way cleaner. We were gone all of most days and nobody was in to clean our room, not once during our 3 days. Great location. Good complimentary coffee.

We enjoyed our stay. We will be back.

Super clean and comfy room! We love being so close to the boardwalk and beach. We were also accommodated with pool and bathroom use prior to our room being ready. Parking lot is pretty spacious as well.
-
We do appreciate the free tea and coffee in the lobby, the two free beach chairs (note umbrellas have a fee), and the two free beach/pool towels. And again, all the staff we interact with is so friendly and helpful.

Location was great, front desk needs to pay more attention to the guests instead of on computer more eye to eye contact would be more welcoming, other than that it was great.
-
Loved this place 2 beach chairs come with the room

The room was very clean. The staff were excellent and the balcony was a great touch! Looking forward to going back for the 2027 White Marlin Open and staying at The Park Place Hotel.

The room was clean and had great views

Park Place Hotel has a very helpful and professional staff. My family and I enjoyed the outdoor bar (The Coconut Club), the clear view of the beach and the boardwalk. The amenities were also a great attraction to add to our experience. However, the flooring, bathroom and bedding wasn’t the greatest. We struggled with having a comfortable rest especially the signed.

Perfect location

If you want to be on the board walk, you cannot beat the location. The pillows are absolutely terrible. I called twice to get extra bath towels and toilet paper and never received them. I had to track down a housekeeper.

Unfortunately, this hotel was a one-and-done for us. The stairs smelled very musty, and the room was extremely dated. There was an old, deflated couch that I personally would never sit on, dated carpet, a dingy old dresser, oxidized light fixtures, old linens, and just an overall worn-out feel. The shower was another major issue. There was visible mold at the top, and pipes were leaking above the shower, possibly from the unit above. Somehow, there was also no exhaust fan in the bathroom/shower which is against any interior building code I know of. The amount "I owed to the property" was more than double what the website stated The positives: the location was good, the linens did appear and smell clean, the staff was pleasant, and halls and small lobby were nice and bright Unfortunately, the positives weren't enough to make up for the condition of the room and the unexpected cost. We won't be staying here again.

No dresser for clothing. Bathroom sink was loose on the wall. No safe in room. Needed carts for bags . A bit of a struggle to get bags to cottage.

We really loved the property! It was on the boardwalk, and it also seemed like a very kid friendly hotel which we loved because we have a nine year-old. Our only negative comments would be the room was not super clean especially the bathroom and check-in was kind of a nightmare. We checked in early and I knew our room was not going to be available and that was completely OK; however at 4 PM I asked about our room and they said that they had called me at 2:28 PM. They did not and this was a reoccurring theme with many guests who were staying at the hotel that we spoke with. My advice, if your room is not ready at check-in, check back an hour or so later and it may be ready. They just didn’t call you. The cocktails at the bar were incredible! We used the pool a lot because the jellyfish were rampant at the beach and it was great!

Location and on site restaurant were great The water pressure in the shower was quite low, and when you have beach sand stuck to sunscreen on your legs. . . you're not getting much help

I like the location of Park Place on the boardwalk and it's a nice place to stay. I got an email that said if we checked in at 1:00 to 1:30 they would get my phone number and let me know when our room was ready and I never heard anything from them. When I went to check in they said oh yeah, your rooms been ready. I didn't feel like the front office were very pleasant. We have stayed there a couple of time and have always booked our room through booking.com and for some reason this time they charged me an extra $25.00 for parking, and I was told that I was charged this because of booking my room that way. Feels like I was being punished for using booking. com and was told I should have booked through them directly, so I was not happy about that at all.
