I liked all. Buildings are old but it was well kept clean and very nice

Very cozy and cute. We loved the view from our balcony and how close we were to the beach.

I did wish I had a terrace. However I did book late. I enjoyed the 2nd floor porch.

Pleasant historic hotel situated right on the beach. The room was quite small but comfortable. She shower was rather difficult to operate --not much control o=ver the heat of the water and difficult to turn off.

The Laingdon was perfect in every way for us! Right across from the beach with chairs and umbrellas for our use. Only a 5 minute walk to Asbury boardwalk and Ocean Grove Main Street. The staff is wonderful, the place is immaculate and the continental breakfast was great… muffins, yogurt and cereal with fresh brewed coffee! We loved this place and look forward to coming back soon. The pillows were not as fluffy as mine from home

Very friendly proprietors. Fantastic on the ocean front. Ocean Grove is the town. There is no alcohol served so it’s very peaceful Narrow staircase. But to be expected in an older Victorian hotel

Breakfast needs a refreshing boost.

Perfect location across the street from the beach, wonderful porch for relaxing and having a drink after the beach, small but comfortable room, big bathroom, nice family owned hotel

Fantastic family that owns and runs this inn, 3 generations by my count. All so friendly and welcoming. This was our first visit here, and won’t be our last. Was told by friends about this hotel. Many people that stay are repeater’s year after year. Right on the shore, absolutely beautiful town and historic hotel. Rooms were so well maintained and decorated with the history and time period of the town of Ocean Grove. The lobby is decorated as if you are walking into a beautiful victorian sitting room. Overall, I’ve never had a better stay anywhere. There are no negatives to this hotel.

Cockroaches in hallway and coming out of the bathroom sink. Very dirty.

Location good. Front common terrace on 2nd floor. Owner nice at front desk...there for 20 years. Seal fountain outside on lawn...there for as long as I can remember. Sand on floor that we noticed when we arrived. Hook on back of bathroom door was loose and not usable. Room 17 was very small. We paid about $50 more per night using Booking.com instead of calling direct. I wasn't getting a call through to the hotel direct so was forced to use booking.com.

Fabulous location. Relaxed atmosphere. Our stay was brief and enjoyable. Bed was not comfortable for me but my partner slept like a log.
