Check-in and access accommodating, room clean and stocked, staff friendly with nice follow up, and breakfast available was lovely.

Location was great, quiet but on top of the beach and Main Street for coffee shops and restaurants. It’s perfect for seahearnow festival. And it’s a beautiful quaint Victorian building

The perfect hotel for a weekend away at the beach. My husband and I were in town for the music festival in Asbury park. The host was very good at communicating and the complimentary breakfast was amazing!

Charming, everything in the room, worked well, the host was gracious, and the breakfast great! It was a perfect weekend getaway exactly what we needed.

Beachliner Hotel is a dream come true! Exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. This historic building is beautifully maintained and steps away from the beach, shops and restaurants. The complimentary beach towels and chairs were a very nice touch for those who like to pack light. And the complimentary use of beach cruisers (bikes) is an awesome touch. The bed was very comfortable and the room towels thick and soft. Breakfast is included with plenty of delicious options.

The breakfast was fabulous loved having the bikes and plentiful amount of towels in rooms. Fresh cookies Daily was a beautiful touch. Garbage piled outside of lower deck .

Very, VERY nice place. Great rooms. Hearty breakfast, Close to beach. Towels, chairs, bikes (I think) are also included. Bernadette is a lovely host. Great communication.

A wonderful stay thank you!

The second floor 2 bed suite with the large private balcony overlooking the beach was just what we wanted. The continental breakfast was delicious and included more offerings than typical. The bathroom was problematic. So small, the door hit the sink and would not fully open. There was a lack of any space to put toiletries, and the shower was downright dangerous. The shower floor pitched downward (I get it's an old building) and was very slippery- not a good combination. Once inside and wet, you begin to slide and find there is nothing to grab on to! The shower door is smooth glass; I'm surprised no one has crashed through it. Adding an interior bathmat/decals and installing a grab bar should be a top safety priority here.

Breakfast is ok I did like bagels lox but the other selections were questionable

This is my fourth time staying at The Beachliner and will be back again in a few months. This hotel is the best in Ocean Grove. The walk to the beach is only a few steps, same with the stores and restaurants on Main. The difficulty finding a parking spot is to be expected if you’re familiar with the Jersey Shore, but nothing to complain about. There is a beautiful breakfast spread every morning cooked and set up by Bernadette with drinks and sides to suite everyone’s needs. There is a fabulous cleaning service who works on sight that is super kind and respectful. The rooms and bathrooms are clean with comfortable beds and enough space for everyone. We can’t wait to come back!

The property is very old and in need of maintenance. The hallways and room need a fresh coat of paint and some of the fixtures are broken. The stairs are very steep and there is no elevator so the elderly or disabled should stay elsewhere. That said, the property manager Bernadette is very nice and helpful. The linens and towels were clean. No sand found in the room. Decor is beachy modern and simple. There is a wardrobe closet, and ample space in the room. I appreciated the mini fridge and freezer for overnight storage of lunch. There was some hair from former guests found on the bathroom floor and shower but the fixtures were clean overall. The location is wonderful and the ocean views lovely from the porch and balconies. The breakfast was plentiful and appreciated as were the freshly baked cookies and complimentary water. The shops are nearby and proximity to the ocean is ideal. Plenty of street parking. There are a few complimentary bicycles for use but the grips are sticky and need to be cleaned. Note that I visited this property after the Labor Day weekend so it was the end of the season. I believe the minor issues could easily be repaired in the off season.
