Breakfast was pleasant with a good variety of food. Facilities are vintage but well maintained. The staff was very helpful and they all had a good attitude. There was a bike rack available on the side for our bikes. Ocean Grove is a very unique location which seems to step out of a time machine from the past. Lots of fun. Since it's an older property, the floors and walls allow for sound to travel. We had guests above us who made noise until late one night. There were no extra blankets available in the room so we had to ask. Street parking can be difficult to find especially on weekends.

Beautiful building, amazing location. The breakfast was very nice. The temp was not controllable in our room and it seemed as if they shut the AC off at night. Woke up both night very warm in the middle of the night and then felt AC come in at 6. A friend staying there said their room was very cold.

This was such a charming place! Very friendly and helpful staff! Our family room was perfect for us and our 10 yr old. Amazing breakfast each morning on the second balcony. So many choices and delicious! This is walking distance (3 mins) to the boardwalk and beach and there is a view of the ocean from the front porch!

The property was well maintained and very clean. Excellent location. Tables on the porch where the breakfast was served were wobbly.

It was our 1 st time at this hotel and area. We liked that we were able to park our car and easily walk to the beach, restaurants , stores and other local attractions. The hotel was lovely, staff attentive & helpful to guests. The buffet breakfast was delicious each day( some menu change up) and enjoyed being able to eat with a view of the ocean as well as relax on the inviting front porch. Overall it was a quiet area and other guests were courteous.

Amazing location, friendly staff, beach towels available, plenty of social spaces, very clean room with character. Lock for the door was temperamental. Breakfast was cute, but very small portions.

The location is perfect! 1/2 block from the beach, walk to Asbury Park, a lovely downtown (also walkable). Had I not had concert tickets at Monmouth University I would probably not have moved my car at all :) Breakfast included is always a plus.
