Majestic Hotel

The location was perfect. The bicycles were in good condition and the towels, chairs and umbrellas all were perfect. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. I did not care for the restaurant which I know is not owned by the hotel.

The staff

the friendly staff, the wine hour, the quiet and elegant ambiance the temperature controls were a little confusing. there was a wall unit for heat that you had to set, and then a remote control for cooling. ideally all temperature adjustments should have been on the same device to make it less confusing, in my opinion

The place is lovely and the breakfast was very good and not expensive. My only suggestion is to wash the windows

The room was very very small for the price we paid for 2 midweek nights in April. Perhaps 10' x 15'. Everything else was ok.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. The hotel was a block from the Ocean Grove beach, and a block and a half the other way from the shopping/restaurant district. The historic hotels, guest houses and houses were extraordinarily beautiful and interesting. The room was a little small. But everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. The staff was great and the location delightful.

Thank you for such a lovely stay! We were impressed from the moment that we were greeted! The staff was attentive and friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean! The location is amazing as it is a brief walk to the boardwalk and downtown Asbury. I will stay here again.

Very close to the beach and nice walking distance from a a lot of local small stores and even good walking distance from downtown area of asbury park. Beach passes towels chairs whatever you needed they have Bed was a little uncomfortable but I managed

Dining room was great. We had breakfast 4 mornings and it was always good. We had dinner twice. Good also. We have spent time in Ocean Grove in the past and were familiar with the location. The Majestic was well located. The variety on the lunch/dinner menu could have been more. We stayed 4 nights and the room we chose was smaller than we would have liked. There was no place for two people to do two different things without disturbing each other.

Perfect get away! Staff was terrific and gave us great info for live music. Best Breakfast in Ocean Grove.

The inn itself was beautiful, the closeness to the beach was great. Property was very clean. Mattresses were great. I didn't like the receptionist texting me 4-5 times days in advance asking when I was going to check in. All they had to say is we have no one here to check you in after 5pm and I would have made sure I got there. You go to a hotel for respite from daily life- this wasn't that. Flooring in room 11 by kitchenette was moldy and peeling up- for $279 on the low season this should be replaced. Kitchenette area also was in need of replacement- everything else about the room was nice. Shower head needed to be cleaned or replaced as well- not sure what kind of water was spraying me. eck.

Rooms are very warm and comfortable. Beautiful hotel, and lobby had a very welcoming and elegant holiday vibe. Wish there was more vegetarian/vegan choices in the restaurant.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly located with a short walk to the beach. Great restaurant attached to hotel. Bathroom and kitchenette could use some updating. Water bottles in the room would be appreciated.

Meticulously clean, well located, comfortable room

Cozy space, breakfast was good, staff were friendly, loved the single serve pour over coffees in the rooms, bikes and beach gear, beach passes were all nice. Hallways to rooms had a strong perfume scent that wasn’t really for me

Location, right in front of the beach. Quiet and fun beach town. There’s no elevator.
