The Inn at Ocean Grove

Uncomfortable beds. Out of five of us only the 8 year old was able to sleep. The bathroom within the bedroom. I will never use Expedia to book a trip again

This property was Excellent in all aspects. Street parking is difficult. So give yourselves extra time to look for a spot, but it's well worth the wait. Breakfast is delicious and the caretakers are very attentive.

The room was tiny with almost no floor space, which would have been tolerable if not for other issues. Worst bed I've ever slept on in my life - giant pillow-top that killed my back. The window air conditioner was extremely loud and blew directly on the foot of the bed and hardly worked - so the room was like a swamp with water everywhere that never dried up, but your feet were cold. And there was no normal blanket - just a giant foot-wide comforter/bed-spread that would only be appropriate for winter (if ever). So you were hot, cold, damp and cramped as you lay in your uncomfortable bed. The place was otherwise unremarkable. It's literally a scam and should be illegal to offer rooms of this quality at any price, let alone over a grand for 3 nights. Worst travel experience of my life that did not involve a trip to the emergency room!

Outstanding breakfast options! Clean and quiet room. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Close to the beach. Parking can be challenging.

The real charm though is the innkeeper Ashley. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and had so much knowledge of the area. Would highly recommend :)

Property was very old and needed updating and repairs. The staff was not overly friendly but was cordial. Good thing they provided breakfast. Furniture was peeling, door in bathroom did not lock and there was no clock or mirror provided.

Lovely property for a quick getaway. Location was perfect, breakfast delicious and Ashley the perfect hostess. Room was clean and comfortable. Don’t hesitate to choose the Inn At Ocean Grove.

Ocean Grove is such a wonderful, low-key community. Parking can be a challenge but it’s worth it for the fun and relaxed family vibe. Ashley and the Inn at Ocean Grove staff were so helpful and friendly and magically always there when we opened the door. Breakfasts were perfect and not your typical “included with your stay” breakfasts…with seating on the porch or inside, they took our order and brought it to the table. A very enjoyable stay!

The cutest property in Ocean Grove! Ashley was super helpful the entire stay! Breakfast sandwich with Taylor Ham was AMAZING! Room was spacious (Vermont) and the rooftop had the best view to the beach! 10 out of 10!!

Check in with Ashley was quick and easy, loved being a few blocks from the beach. Breakfast was phenomenal, would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Ocean Grove

The location is amazing. Staff were super friendly - they let us extend our stay so we could have a little more time at the beach. The breakfast was delicious and more like a restaurant than a buffet. There is a fridge in each room. There is a great roof deck where you can sit out. This is an old and charming hotel which we enjoyed but it may not be for everyone as there are narrow stairs and doorways, some low ceilings, uneven floors, etc. There is no elevator and you'll need to use the stairs to get up to all bedrooms. You have to be careful about overloading circuits. The bed was a little uncomfortable. There are limited electrical outlets in the room (an extension cord would have been helpful). The bar on the towel rack was missing.

Great breakfast

This was our second trip and the Inn Keeper Ashely recoginzed us upon our return. She was super helpful and welcoming. This little space will certainly be a return visist.

Great clean comfortable place to stay at and so hear the board walk - everything walking distance to Big Auditorium church & Ashbury Park boardwalk too. Most comfortable memory foam king mattress & place very clean. The absolute best hot breakfast worth the stay alone.

The free breakfast Small room and no pool

Breakfast ended at 9:30; 10:30 would be better - I think it was made to order (but I missed it)! The entire house has 10-12 rooms; old building with lots of charm - 1 1/2 blocks to the beach. Very nice balconies, breakfast area, and garden - in a residential type neighborhood. Checkin process after hours was not super clear. I did receive a text message with videos of my 3 rooms - very helpful. At first I did not recognize the phone number, thinking it was spam.
