-
Nice staff, the hotel needs renovation.
-
I liked the location, the pool was well kept and warm. Surrounding rough, including what was owned by the hotel
-
No breakfast. Okay hotel.
-
Great accommodations. In town for Camp Pendleton and it was exactly what we needed
-
Rooms were very outdated. Not worth the high price. No breakfast and even though close to the beach area was a bit scary. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Ac didn't work well.
-
can offer complimentary water bottles in the room
-
Very clean room, helpful staff and they were all really nice and respectful! Pretty solid location that’s close the beach

I think I should’ve got a refund because the room was so small. It was like a closet and it was supposed to be 400 feet. It was the most terrible room I’ve ever stayed in and so tiny I was claustrophobic and the TV was so tiny you couldn’t even see it. The mattress had a blood stain on it that was covered up by a mattress cover and the room was super tiny that you were claustrophobic. The room wasn’t clean. There was no soap to wash your hands. There was no staff to bring it up. The pool was a mess with dirty towels all over the place and all over the floor by the pool and there was no clean towels by the pool.

The room space is great - large clean and well maintained. The property itself needs a decent facilities manager. I booked this hotel because of its ocean/harbor view rooftop observation deck, which is their profile pic for the listing. Since none of the rooms have balconies, (window only opens an inch!) this common space deck seemed ideal. Sadly it is NOTHING like the photograph - there is no useable furniture on the deck.....essentially no where to sit, much less an umbrella table or any shade - a completely inhospitable space. The pool deck has a similar issue: no umbrella table, no chaise lounges, just three cheap stackable chairs from Walmart. No complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning - it just feels like they are not paying attention - it could be great despite its odd location hemmed in between two other hotels with no rooms with ocean views, I like The Days Inn next door better at two thirds of the price!

Overall, the hotel was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel gets a lot of traffic, which is evident in the dings and scratches throughout the facility. It is clean. The breakfast was very very good. It is not free but priced similar to nearby restaurants. Insider tip, there is an observation deck on the top floor. The beds and pillows were good. There is a bar but I couldn’t figure out when it was opened. They may want to work on that. The pool is small but I never saw more than 4 people in it so it wasn’t a big deal. You can walk to the harbor down a short path but the hill is kinda steep and the path isolated so don’t go alone at night.

Decent hotel. The pool is really small though. The food option is limited. The restaurant is surprisingly closed on Sunday and the food was pretty mediocre.

Staff got me a new room after I reported the AC was broken. Housekeeping was hit or miss. You have to request it. The restaurant was open when I first showed up then it changed to Thu-Sat due to lack of staff. Food was great the one time I went.
