The Hotel Oceanside

Great place to stay , walkable to beach, shopping and dinning.

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and courteous and parking was excellent. We loved the experience.

The property had the basic room needs. There was no hand soap provided and the Air-conditioning unit was broken. No cold air came out. Only room temperature air available so we cracked a window all night.

Clean, quiet, friendly staff, walking distance to pier and harbor, restaurants, beach. Good price for same day reservation. I didn't bring a car close to Iceanside public transit hub.

A/C didn’t work. No help was provided. Rude front desk staff.

(Only improvement would be replacing the bathroom fan to something stronger - with the So Cal humidity, the bathroom was a bit challenging).

Check in was horrible. Personal not friendly. Deposit has to be in cash????Supper hot in lobby and hallways .Great location and clean room.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff wasn’t real flint, friendly.

We were in room 315 and it was like a mini timeshare. It was a nice room, with lots of space. It was also very clean. Close to the main area of Oceanside. We would stay here again.

The room had ants and the toilet has a weird device in the tank so can only use the toilet every 3-4 mins because it takes that long for the water to fill up the tank again. They think it's saves them water, but it's frustrating if two or more people have to use the rest room back to back. This was our first time staying here and it will be our last.

The hotel lobby is old and in need of renovations. The rooms were better, but they weren't very clean and I had to request that the toilet seat be fixed when I arrived because it was broken and there wasn't any soap in the shower. The television has hundreds of channels, but you can only access to a few. The hotel does have a washer and dryer on both floors and I loved it. We normally stay at the best western next door, but it was booked so we tried this one. We won't be staying here again.

It’s listed that it provides breakfast but it only had granola bars and bananas. Sort of misleading.

There is no breakfast except grab and go...and not much coffee. Maybe I misinterpreted this place but it was a bit of a disappointment. I did feel safe tho and I could walk to starbucks and the pier. Sorry to complain!

It was quiet, clean and the rooms are spacious

This place is really just okay and a decent place to crash. It’s cost is more about location than anything else. Otherwise the accommodations are so-so for the price. My room and the place in general needs renovation.

Staff were not helpful. the hallway has new carpets, but it feels so humid as we took the stairs to the second floor. We don't recommend the grab as you go breakfast. choices are limited - a fruit and a fruit bar. The coffee was not hot enough.
