We were in room 315 and it was like a mini timeshare. It was a nice room, with lots of space. It was also very clean. Close to the main area of Oceanside. We would stay here again.

The room had ants and the toilet has a weird device in the tank so can only use the toilet every 3-4 mins because it takes that long for the water to fill up the tank again. They think it's saves them water, but it's frustrating if two or more people have to use the rest room back to back. This was our first time staying here and it will be our last.

The hotel lobby is old and in need of renovations. The rooms were better, but they weren't very clean and I had to request that the toilet seat be fixed when I arrived because it was broken and there wasn't any soap in the shower. The television has hundreds of channels, but you can only access to a few. The hotel does have a washer and dryer on both floors and I loved it. We normally stay at the best western next door, but it was booked so we tried this one. We won't be staying here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Hotel Oceanside. The room is big and clean. The frontdesk staff is accommodating.’thank you!

There is no breakfast except grab and go...and not much coffee. Maybe I misinterpreted this place but it was a bit of a disappointment. I did feel safe tho and I could walk to starbucks and the pier. Sorry to complain!

It was quiet, clean and the rooms are spacious

This place is really just okay and a decent place to crash. It’s cost is more about location than anything else. Otherwise the accommodations are so-so for the price. My room and the place in general needs renovation.

Staff were not helpful. the hallway has new carpets, but it feels so humid as we took the stairs to the second floor. We don't recommend the grab as you go breakfast. choices are limited - a fruit and a fruit bar. The coffee was not hot enough.

the front desk clerk was really rude. we checked in monday afternoon. like around 4pm, and right when we step in the hotel, shes already in the bad mood. not going back for sure coz of her.

Laundry was useful

The laundry staff was very friendly and helpful. the evening staff was not very friendly or helpful. advertised that there was a continental breakfast in the morning. no coffee until 8 am, had to keep asking for creamer and sugar. when asked the staff/receptionist seemed annoyed, she then came and placed only 6 little cups of creamer after using some it was gone. only a couple of bananas and apples a few bars/cookie. that was it.

The female receptionist at the front desk didn’t wear any smile or welcome us when we walked in. We did not know it is required to do cash deposit $200 if you stay over 3 nights. The fee sign at the counter didn’t explain this at all. We tried to understand why as we never had any hotels required cash deposit. The receptionist looked not helpful and was not conversational at all. Like she didn’t want to talk to us. The restrooms in the lobby were locked when I wanted to use it and I was told both are out of service. I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking for good customer service.

The room was clean and the price was right, but the staff was less than friendly. When we got to our room there had been a leak under the sink that had dampened the carpet. A fan was running to dry it. We called the staff and they just said not to use the sink. No offer to change our room. After our first night, houskeeping came and brought fresh towels but didn't even make the bed. The breakfast was lousy, just snack bars and apples and bananas.

The room was pretty good. Just your average hotel room. It was nice it had a kitchenette area. The showers water pressure wasn’t great but it did the job. The hotel is very close to the beach and everything else. Free parking but tight area. Overall 8/10
