Best Western Plus Oceanside Palms

We have stayed here several times and have always been happy with the comfortable beds and my husband loves the breakfast.

We stayed here for 2 nights as we did Legoland 2 days back to back. There was ample parking and our room was a good size. The bathroom was oddly large and it felt like there was a lot of wasted space there, but whatever. The closet was a good size and there was a kitchenette with an apt sized fridge with freezer, a microwave, some counter space with cabinets and a sink. The carpet needed some deep cleaning though - there was a musty smell to it. There was an ok sized pool and hot tub. The breakfast was as expected at all BWs and was hot. The nice touch was the extra side room that had a coffee/espresso/latte/hot chocolate machine that made a decent latte. My two gripes were 1) that my brand new SUV (doesn't even have permanent plates yet) got purposefully keyed by some a**hole overnight on the 1st night. The front desk guy was nice enough but said there probably was no security footage. Why was there no security guard on duty? 2) There was road construction work half a block away that was super loud making it kind of hard to sleep at least on the 1st night.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Our air conditioner was loud and they provided us with a different room right away. Breakfast was excellent.

Clean rooms, friendly efficient staff. Breakfast was good made fresh daily. AC was working great. Really close to the beach.

Our room was kept clean each day. Enjoyed the breakfast options, staff available to make sure there was enough for everyone. Check in and check out was easy. Hotel short 20 minute walk to beach.

The hotel was EXTREMELY clean. The staff was excellent. Could not ask for a better place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay in the Queen suite with kitchenette. Room was a little tight, but was clean and comfortable. Desk staff very helpful and friendly. Great breakfast. The only downside was the construction vehicles you could hear into the night that woke us up. Would stay again.

Room was spacious, very clean, updated, and well equipped. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate and in line with other midrange hotel breakfasts. Convenient location near downtown, beach, freeways, and restaurants. Overall, a nice hotel offering very good value for money.

Very clean and staff was very friendly Key cards on back door never worked. Breakfast could have been better. No yogurt, fruit, or brown sugar.

Breakfast was really good. Fresh and plenty of options. Hotel was clean. Room and pool/hot tub were on the smaller side but we managed for four nights. Staff was very helpful.

Staying here was awesome. I don't know if there was a pool, but there was an ocean, and it wasn't that far away. Everything was neat and clean. The dining area was a bit small, but if you don't want to eat breakfast at the hotel, there are great shops to walk and get local food. Great place to stay. Our A/C unit was a bit loud, but it worked!

I always stay at this hotel. The rooms and interior areas and the pool always look like new condition.

Place was clean. Easy parking. Only problem was staff try to give my room to someone else. I napping when someone tried to open the door. Went to front desk and they apologized. Mire worried about someone having access if I hadn't neen in the room.

Clean room great location

Had a great time staying there and walking to the beach. The pool and jacuzzi were so refreshing. Breakfast was great every morning, we loved the waffles.

The place was clean and well-located; the breakfast was solid and the staff were friendly. I am not sure I would stay again unless the beds and pillows were updated because they were uncomfortable.
