Close to the freeway, close to the base, close to downtown oceanside, will stay here again

In this hotel some staff at the front desk were lazy and did not want to help guests with navigation outside. The elevator reeks of cigarettes and is vandalized with scratches. The hallways do not have ventilation and the carpets are stained. Now in the room I was staying at (ROOM 207) the bathroom door couldn't fully close even with a lot of force. The metal part of the mirror in the bathroom is stained and rusty. The pillows are also worn out. One outlet next to the bed and lamps also did not work. The beds were really clean and the hotel includes free breakfast which is really good. The gym was good and has a cable machine, elliptical, bike and bench. The gym also had towels and a water dispenser. The pool is great and tidy as well. This hotel is near the beach and a very good diner. Overall this hotel is ok for a quick stay. The couch in the room is also stained.

Our AC unit did not work in our room and it made it impossible to sleep

Overall a nice hotel. Staff was very nice and the property was clean. For the price point and being 5 mins from the beach, it’s though to beat. Needs new carpet at some point and the fitness room needs to be overhauled. It only had two cardio machines and both were broken. The breakfast was good and had a good selection. Would stay here again.

Staff was really nice. We had the balcony room. Nice big balcony, but it overlooks the freeway entrance ramp. It was loud from traffic noise. Otherwise, room was good. Breakfast was good. Hotel was clean. I'd stay again.

Staff wasn’t very nice. The hotel itself is pretty rundown on the inside. There were spiders in my room. I found a pube in the bathtub. The A.C. Didn’t work that well. The fridge wasn’t cold.
