The Seabird Ocean Resort & Spa, Part of Destination Hotel by Hyatt

The food was excellent, with plenty of delicious options for both adults and kids. One of the biggest highlights is the location—it’s just steps from the beach and within easy walking distance of the train station, as well as many great restaurants and shops. We barely needed to use our car during our stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing, family friendly hotel in Oceanside with an unbeatable location, the Seabird is a fantastic choice. We will definitely be back next summer!

This resort was exactly what we wanted, nice pool and beach view. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly. Pricing for parking is high, but you can seek other options if you are willing to deal with it resetting at 12:01am. Valet guys are charming. Food is pricey but delicious and really get what you pay for, with excellent staff at your service. One of our bags got delayed and the airline delivered to the hotel and they put it in our room while we were out and about. Sister in law took amtrak down from LA to meet us, station is 2 blocks away. You never hear the train at the property though. Great get away and all local restaurants were delicious. Bier garten and Craft coast bear and tacos were our faves..and dont forget Parlor Doughnuts!!

Great location for our small family and pet(s). Spent 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Oceanside is a fun, vibrant place to explore and relax.

Best stay for families in Oceanside!

This was an awesome place to stay. The staff was the best!! We will 100000% be going back there when we come back to visit. A must place to stay!

This property is impeccable. The location, right across from the beach is so nice. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

We loved this place and would love to return again and again! We came with 7 children and 2 adults. This was a family friendly resort that bent over backwards to make us feel welcome and spoiled! Upon hearing of our situation (my daughter passed away, my other daughter came with her kids and I brought my daughter’s 4 kids), our waitress prayed with us before breakfast. We brought our group down to the lobby to eat our take out we ordered; the staff there made us feel so welcome and one man went above and beyond to wait on us! He said he enjoyed making people feel welcome. there was a game / movie room which we enjoyed, and even sunscreen at the pool! The decor was fresh and beautiful, everything was spotless, and I was thrilled to be there.

It was nice

Our stay was very pleasant, staff was friendly throughout our stay during the 250th Independence Day weekend. We will most definitely be returning and highly recommend others to stay here if you’re visiting Oceanside. The best perks of staying here are by far beach frontage views from your rooms, everything they advertise and more. You’ll just have to book your stay and find out for yourself.
