Everything you except for a motel 6. Clean!

Deadbolt doesnt lock, door latch was missing. Terrible.

I am a trucker and I booked this hotel because it was next to the truck stop. I then didn’t have to run the truck for air conditioning because it was so hot. I normally read the reviews before I book a room but I didn’t have a lot of time. The staff was friendly and helpful and when I first entered the room it seemed ok but had a bit of a strange odour. In the evening I read reviews on this hotel and realized how many people had complained about bed bugs.

Our room was SO dirty, and if you can believe it, there was a used condom behind the fridge! HOW GROSS! Then the power went out and it was out for a day and a half, so no light no air conditioner all night long fridge, spoiled all of our food when we talked to management about it, they said sorry there’s nothing we can do if you don’t like it. Check out……. I mean, OK I don’t expect you to magically fix everything but since you did decide to be a hotel where lots of people stay you could’ve helped out a little bit someway or made it seem like you even gave a crap instead of just saying well, we’re customers of the power company and your customers of us so nothing we can do for you. …….. come on they could’ve given a little bit of a discount for a pitch black hallway, dark room and spoiled food no air conditioner and hot water that went out too because obviously you need electricity to use whatever they have is water heaters and the Wi-Fi was out forever! I stayed here for an extended period of time like a year maybe a year and a half ago and it was great. Apparently they’re under some kind of new management or ownership or something because none of the housekeepers are here anymore and there’s different people at the front desk and it’s turning into a slum really sad too because it’s a great location.

This was the most disgusting place I have ever been. The room was filthy and there were bugs crawling all over. There was also a random stain on the ceiling that looked fresh. After taking a Clorox wipe to the sink the wipe came out almost black. I’ve stayed at other motel 6’s that were clean and well maintained. This was horrible. We immediately left and went to a holiday inn.

The location to the activities was perfect Didn't like the fact that the ac cover kept falling off and that the next morning there was a cockroach on one of the headboards and I had to fight for any kind of refund which was only $20

More of a trucking stop type of motel. Issues with the room itself - hair found on sheets, no hair dryer, but the main reason we left early is we kept getting a intermittent (but very strong) smoke smell inside the room. It may have been something in the AC. Single staff on-hand was helpful but understandably swamped and was unable to resolve our issue so we did not stay more than one night

. Despite being a no smoking property the entire room smelled heavily of cigarettes. Bathroom tub prettThis is an older property and is right next to truck parkingy worn down. Aside from smelling like an ashtray the room was actually clean.

The "security" latch on the door to the exterior was hanging loose by one screw. Someone claiming to be from housekeeping knocked on the door asking to be admitted. He wouldn't say why he needed access. Seemed especially suspicious because he knocked a minute after my husband left the room. There was trash all over in the parking lot. Bed was reasonably comfortable. A/C worked well.

This is a sketchy motel to say the least. Right after we checked in, a prostitute checked in. As we made our way to our room there was a woman lying on the ground drunk or high. She got up as we walked by and stumbled to her room. Then we passed two soiled mattresses leaning against the wall as we finally arrived at our room. We would have left and gone somewhere else if we could have gotten our money back. The rooms were poorly maintained with many barely patched holes in the walls and door frame. The bathrooms were dirty, the towels mismatched and not enough provided. The bed linens had holes in them and had stains. The bedspreads were extremely worn and faded. The AC worked but the control panel was busted and so we had to guess our way around the buttons. All that said, it was quiet at night and we ended up getting a decent night's sleep. Nonetheless, we would NEVER stay here again due to the hotel's cleanliness, lack of maintenance and the questionable character of the other hotel occupants.

I have to be careful with these reviews as I'm a veteran traveler that used to be in the top tier hotels. Now retired and on a motorcycle I don't need all that extra. What I need is a clean room, a comfy bed and a hot shower. Coffee in the room is a bonus. Oh and secure parking. This hotel was situated behind a truck stop and a McD's. It was noisy. No matter as I had been riding over 12 hours. Check in was fine, the room was uh, fine I guess (for the price point) but the deferred maintenance of hotels like this class of hotel, uh motel is so common. Folks not born in the USA now own these motels and they just don't care that much of the door jam is missing, the room air squeals, the floors are gross and one side of the mattress is collapsed due from overuse! I was so tired I slept ok. The shower was hot and the towels appeared clean. I was happy to not have to hang out in it but for 6 hours of sleep. You do get what you pay for.
