Studio 6 Ogden, Ut – 21St Street

Dirty gross sticky floor

Close off the freeway. Inexpensive. It was located behind a truck stop. It was dirty inside and out. Could hear semi trucks running all night. Could hear people yelling from the parking lot.

It’s overall just a place to stay. If you don’t mind not having a smart tv or a pool. Then you should be fine. They don’t have late checkouts which is kind of bummer, their checkout is at 11am. But I mean overall good a/c, bed was nice and comfy. But there was an odd smell coming from the fridge. But other than again, it was just a place to stay :)

The room was fairly good-sized and was clean. It had a larger than usual fridge with freezer, which was nice for our travel food. We brought our own pillows and slept well. Vinyl “wood” flooring feels cleaner than carpet. Short drive to downtown area with lots of restaurants. Beds were a bit soft. Decor was typical Motel 6, without much character or charm.

When booking the Studio 6 hotel, on checking in I was told by front desk that the price that I paid on line with Expedia was for Hotel 6 and not for Studio 6 as booked.I was told the price charged on - line $91.00 was not enough to stay next door at studio 6. There were alot of out of town contractors that arrived around 8:pm and left early around 6:30 am. I would not recommend staying here.

The room was clean, and check-in was fast which I appreciated after driving so late. My only real issue was we checked in for 3 people and there were only 2 towels - for 3 adults. When we went and asked the next morning for an extra towel they said they didn't have any??? I don't know how as a motel you dont have extra towels especially when I reserved the room I put 3 adults would be staying.

The price was affordable. Room had all that I needed. There was an issue where I paid for the room beforehand. When I checked in, the location did hot have any record of me paying for the room. Had to contact customer service to get the issue resolved. Was not told of the $100 cleaning deposit beforehand.

Lobby smelt bad. At 2 am, people outside yelling and screaming. It is a motel 6, what else can you say. Oh, no pool as well.

No amenities in the room and ice machine was broken. You could hear everything and every person talking at 6 in the morning...so that was obnoxious. Would not recommend at all.

Nothing creepy men, DISGUSTING ROOM, hard bed. shit on walls floors look like they’ve never been cleaned

Having said that, the level of dirt in this room was really unacceptable, the air conditioner was falling off the wall, and the beds were very very overdo for a new mattress… and I usually am not super picky about my mattress while traveling.

Staff was most helpful. Bathtub had sticky Grey residue in it and no plug for the tub. Exterior, especially stairwell and corridors, needs cleanup attention. Otherwise, room was ok.
