Bourne's Ocean Acres Ogunquit

I booked a stay for my 80+ year old parent's 41st anniversary with special requests for stairless entry, and easy access to a smoking area. The property was quick to respond and accommodate & even rearranged my booking dates on short notice when I asked if the trip could be pushed back a day due to rain in the forecast. My folks were very pleased with the room and said it was very clean & the bed was comfortable. The location is close to several great restaurants, scenic ocean views and shops. Big thanks to the owner Andy for his assistance in helping me gift my parents the perfect stay for their anniversary. Highly recommended 🙂

Nice accomodations in Ogunquit! Easy to check in and park. Typical roadside motel.

Nice property conveniently located to restaurants, shops and especially the beach all within walking distance.

Great location for going to the local beach! Room was comfortable and clean. Outdoor amenities were useful and relaxing. Convenient parking. Would recommend this to others who want to get to the area beach... 15-minute walking distance. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

Would definitely stay again . Some of the staff could have been a little nicer And they could have been a little more gracious about us being woken up and made to leave our room at 3am for a fire alarm going off for no reason - while I am grateful for the response - they should check all their stuff

It was what I expected for a one night stop over. Rooms, pics and property was as described. For the overall value, we cant really say there was alot that we didnt like. We all know you get what you pay for. We happened to be on a tighter budget this week, so we were very happy with the rate. At the same time, we always like to give honest feedback to help other travelers, and most of our concerns are minor. Bed and pillows were just OK. Front porch on 2nd floor where they have benches to sit, which is very nice, are too close to the railing so you have to get up and move each time someone walks by. If you're on the ground floor, youre kissing someone's vehicle bumper because their is no parking buffer between you and the cars. This also makes for alot of noise with loading and unloading, voices carrying, banter etc. A very small green space but does have gas grills for cooking out and picnic tables which is a nice touch, but youre still in a parking lot. Swimming pools are very small, including the indoor one, which happens to be open from 7a.m to 12 a.m, which also creates a lot of noise from families, younger children and teenagers coming and going, and that's to be expected and o.k. But for us somewhat older folk, we go to bed earlier and love to to get up earlier, and with that much added foot traffic outside our room, we felt it wasn't as peaceful as we were hoping for. The front entrance to the office is very close to the very busy main road, so I very careful entering and exiting for safety purposes. The outdor swimming pool for the little kids is also right there so car traffic and noise from the road is not ideal. Staff was OK, no major complaints there. The in room Kurig coffee maker wad very nice but the paper cups are too small so it overfills and spills. All other in room amenities were standard and fine. All in all, the value for the money wad excellent, and I tend to be very picky when traveling.

Close to restaurants, short walk to the beach and downtown. Nice pools & clean rooms. Free parking. Fridge & microwave in room. TV’s could use an upgrade. Beds weren’t that comfortable.

Rooms were very clean. Great location to walk to the beach. Traffic at night was very busy. Took U era in to town to avoid hunting for parking.

Location was perfect! Also really appreciated that fact that I was allowed to stay parked there as I went to beach for the day after I checked out, because of this I will come every year and stay there . Also told all of friends and family! AC was extremely loud

Ocean acres gave us a clean room. Our room 313 had a bathroom door in need of repair as one needed to lift it to close it. The air conditioning worked well, fridge functioning, access to Ice near the indoor pool, the outdoor pool was clean and offered pool floats and a nice extra was the shower before entering the pool was nice and warm. Another amenity was that we were able to have plentiful parking for our two cars that had to come with us as my daughters were prolonging their stay. My comforter also had a drop of dried blood on it, but otherwise the floor was clean, there were ample plugs for phone cords etc. TV offered some basic channels showing sitcoms. All in all, great economical place to stay with a family spacious enough to bring your own breakfast (oatmeal, yogurt, fruits) Short walk to Footbridge beach. The bed pillows were too soft as was the mattress and the bathroom door was falling of its upper hinge. Perhaps have an extra pillow or two for clients.

We love the clean comfy room; king sized bed. Ample space. Private bathroom with fan and window. Enjoyed the pool and floats. Love the proximity to several restaurants. Biked to the beach in less than 10 minutes

The property was well maintained and the rooms was clean! Very simple not extravagant but honestly worth it for the price and location !

Very clean and nice outdoor space to relax Nothing

We arrived around noon on a Wednesday. The front desk person was not there at the time. There was no means of trying to get hold of someone to let them know we were waiting. After about 5-10 mins she showed up and was very pleasant. She said our room was not ready but we were able to park our car and go to the beach. Our room was on the second floor. It was a little dated but was clean and comfortable. The AC worked great and kept our room nice and cool. Ample parking. Location of the hotel was close to footbridge beach. Walking took about 10-15 mins. I would suggest bringing a wagon to pull your stuff. Their outdoor pool was nice and clean as well. The house keeping was great. They came and cleaned our room and gave us new towels when we asked. Unfortunately during our stay, the people staying under us would smoke right outside their room. There were signs that said no smoking on all the doors. They had no awareness that smoke rises and that we could smell it on our end. They could have easily walked across the parking lot to smoke. the fire alarm went off at 2am. And the fire department showed up. When all said and done they left as there was nothing to worry about. But then the alarm went off again at 4, 6, and 7 am. Having the fire engines coming every time. We felt bad for them.

Super clean and comfy. Room cleaned and fresh towels provided each day. Quiet, family oriented motel. Close walking distance to restaurants and downtown (we like to walk). Right around the corner from Footbridge Beach. .25 mile easy walk.
