Driftaway Hotel and Pool

The room was great, everything was convenient and worked well. The text number for staff didn’t work for us, no one ever responded, but otherwise, everything was great! 😊

Not much great to say honestly. The “pet friendly” rooms are dark and dingy. The toilet wasn’t fastened to the floor any longer. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut. The internet was basically non existent which was a problem for our work. House keeping never came even after being requested. Oh and at the time of booking, there was no clear difference between a “pet friendly” room and regular, which led to us not getting our balcony room that was significantly more expensive per night and receiving no refund for the difference. The only reason this review isn’t 1 star was the hot tub was nice.

Spacious room and bathroom - wonderful hot tub. Decor was super cute and retro! Loved the fridge. Awkward (indoor) stairs with two doors to open to get to our second floor unit. Switch plates, metal on chairs were dirty/sticky. No microwave in the room! Had to go to the front desk to use their filthy one in the common area.

This was a lovely little hotel. Exactly what we were looking for. Close to downtown’.

It felt a little bit more like a motel. We were woken up by a leaf blower outside at 8 am. We could also hear the cars in the parking lot. However, the rooms are renovated and nice. They put some work in to decorate them! The only yucky part was the shower drain. You could see the gunk and hair in the drain. The pool area is cute, but you have to wear a plastic wristband at all times.

The room was nice and clean, very comfortable bed and great linens. Pool and hot tub were great, and spa tub in room was amazing.

Very clean. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Plenty of parking. Quiet at night. Close to restaurants and shopping. Nice pool with cabanas and comfortable lounge chairs.

Spacious clean room. Hot tub and pool area with outdoor games was very enjoyable! We would stay again.

The room was comfortable. They said we're dog friendly. Then made me sign two pet waivers and told us no dogs around the pool area. Area!? At the pool i understand. They then gave us a room in the back of the hotel facing the maintenance garage filled with junk and they did not police the area. My town dump is cleaner. The view of the maintenance building really made our day. We checked out and found a place down the road. This motel is pet intolerant NOT pet friendly! Beware!
