Seacoast Motel

Close to North Shore Beach in Ogunquit and Route 1 where other shops/restaurants are located. Bed/sheets/towels were clean and comfortable. Never saw or met the owners, check in done via phone. Never saw anyone working on the property (i.e. pool closed and had lots of leaves in it, no maintenance work done that I saw while I was there and they needed it. Old rugs, old furniture outside of motel room. Not comfy place to hang out and read, etc. Very run down. Rooms old, rusted sink, need entire re-vamp. Carbon monoxide detector not working, dead battery. Door didn't securely close. Had to play with dead bolt to get it to work. Could see outside light around the door. No security or safe feeling.

It was a nice setting- nice size room- Needs better pillows, and a comforter - I had to ask for another blanket to sleep during the night

There wasn’t any breakfast The sink and bathtub showed signs of wear. The pool was closed, although the weather was chilly, it would have been nice to sit outside in the chairs by the pool.

The room was clean although the bedding needs bleach as it is not very white. Lady at front desk was very nice. Building is a little dilapidated and dirty, had a strong smell outside of rotting fish. No room amenities, not even a phone or iron or closet in room. But once again it was clean and did have a small fridge, microwave and a coffee maker (we didn't use) and an air conditioner in rooms. Great cable channels. Bedding needed bleach as it was supposed to be white, but some were a light tanish, that bothered me the most, but they did smell clean. No iron, closet or phone in room. Outside smelled melled like rotting fish. Building needs attention, dirty and dilapidated, could not lock windows.

rooms were good Pool liner needs replacement, black mold spots on pool lounge chairs, carpet on upper concourse needs replacement, adding flower boxes on railings & maintaining flowers
