Wells Moody Motel

conveniently located in the best spot in order to take advantage of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and icecream needs for your day within a 5 second walk.. Rooms were cozy and seemed to be kept up with the times. Being on rt1 was ok soundwise. Street wasnt horried of traffic like OOB is usually. Not bad of a place to rest your head after your daily activities. Very nice desk personnel/owner upon checking in which made it inviting to want to stay. Overall, I`d stay again if I happen to need to book a room.

Hazel was very accommodating for my late arrival and made sure that I was able to get in after hours. I had to add an extra night after the original reservation. She made arrangement/free upgrade so I can stay in the same room for both nights. Her thoughtful help was much appreciated!

Loved where we stayed right near plenty of sites and food and nearby. Restaurants was great. The heated pool was a little too warm too cool off in but nice pool regardless staff was friendly and no hassles.

Check in was smooth and staff was helpful. Rooms were clean.

This is a great place to stay, parking was easy, property was clean & well lit, room was good size, bed was comfortable, AC worked great!

Ok starting right from the check in this place was great. Staff was friendly and welcoming. They were very family friendly. The pool was sparkling clean and the beds were comfortable. AC worked great. You can walk to the beach or drive 5 minutes. Will definitely stay there again.

I loved the how close we were to Ogunquit North Beach! It was a short drive away. There are lots of restaurants and shops in close proximity to the motel- A lot of people were walking in to Ogunquit town which was about two miles down the road? Very lovely, the shops, the different choices for dining. My only complaint was that we had a unit/room above ours! It was occupied the 2nd night- Lots of walking and some noises, dropping of things etc…Overall, our room was fine.

The room was cozy and simple. It was quiet and peaceful. Perfect location. The bed was comfortable.

Not horrible but not great. A place to stay and shower and that’s about it. Would be nice to see some upgrades; unless the idea is to travel back to 1985. Room was not filthy, but it wasn’t clean either; dust on shelves and doors; grime on shower. Shower curtain rod is so far IN that the curtain sticks to you the entire time you shower. Faucet is so close to the sink that you have to hit your whole hand on the inside when trying to wash your hands. Why don’t the outlets and the outlet panels match? Not a big deal but it just shows how little the owner cares to replace/upgrade ANYthing. The thing this place has going for it is the LOCATION. Close to beaches, restaurants, mini golf, shopping, etc. Regardless of location, this is a $79.95/night motel, not a $200. Would not stay here again

The Wells Moody is a convenient, drive-up-to-your-door motor lodge with clean comfortable rooms. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. And the location was convenient. We did not go to the beach but it was only .8 mile from the sand, straight down the adjacent road. Expect a nice -- but basic -- no-frills motor lodge and you won't be disappointed.

My room was clean and the AC worked well (thank goodness!). The only things that were not quite what I might have wanted were a reading light and wow, the bathroom was tiny. But the hot water was really hot and the bed was very comfortable. So no complaints!

Very clean property. Rooms are decorated very nicely; not your typical motel. No noise. Very conveniently located on the main road. I've been staying here for many years now and I always choose this motel because I am always happy there.
