Wells-Ogunquit Resort Motel & Cottages

Quick check in and out. The room was dated. There was visible mold in the shower. The Breakfast area was too small. There was one table with eight or nine chairs. There were plenty of picnic tables outside, but it's hard to eat outside during a Nor'easter. We ended up skipping breakfast.

I loved my corner room, even though they were quite a few people there it was a very quiet. Have a little thing that I can hang on the door knob if I need service.

We felt safe at this property. Although our breakfast experience was very unusual, they did make homemade muffins that were great. Indoor breakfast area has a lack of seating. There is a strange five tier table with eight chairs around it. There’s a shortage of table encounter space to put your tray on. One of the highlights of our two nights stay was our second day at breakfast we had the opportunity to chat with fellow Travelers from Germany, Canada, and Mississippi. This property should focus on redesigning and or expanding their indoor breakfast area to accommodate indoor dining in poor weather. The way they’re set up now they want you to take your breakfast items on a tray back to your room or eat outside if weather permits. We were bummed out the first night we arrived because there advertising they’re a resort and actually it’s more like a motel with a continental breakfast. The place did grow on us by the second night, but we feel it’s a stretch to be called a resort.

The breakfast was excellent! The baked goods were home made each morning! They were delicious! Good variety. The fruits could be better if they added bananas and better apples. The bathroom light has a motor that makes noise when on. I leave that light on each night for safety walking to the bathroom. The heating\ air conditioning system makes noise every time it turns on so that is annoying too.

Breakfast is simple, but adequate. The motel is a great value for the $.

Good basic roadside motel close to the beach. Clean, good tv channel list. Could not get in room WiFi to work, since the stay was only one night, did not follow up with office. I’m sure they would have resolved it.

Not relevant I booked 2 rooms for one night during a family trip. Due to the Nor'estern storm, the area was not safe for driving. and we unfortunately had to leave the costal area for safety reasons, therefore we were asking for free cancelation or partial refund as this is an exceptional situation. Resort owner declined all requests both from booking and me. Instead, they showed zero flexibility and zero understanding. Seems that money is more important to them than safety. Eventually, we payed full price even though unable to arrive. # breakfast # clean # bed # room

Property was conveniently located for our one night stopover. The AC unit was loud and not very efficient. The bathroom has basically no counter space, so if that is a priority I would skip this one. It is not walkable to either Wells or Ogunquit but that was not a priority for us. For a night, it worked but I would probably choose somewhere else for a longer stay.

Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was different - 'grab and go' - no eggs but there were baked beans? Okay, I tried them. They had breads, muffins and yogurt. It worked. Parking was close to the room. I'd stay again.

Adequate, clean room. The vanity in the bathroom was small and had a gap between the wall and the vanity where things could fall down through onto the floor. Also, the fan on the heater made a loud noise.
