Ne'r Beach Motel

The hot water was gone when I was in the middle of taking a shower. I waited and it never came back for me to finish my shower. The front desk lady said they would give me a refund but they didn't mention it when I checked out. The towels are very small and thin. They advertise "heated pool" on the outside billboard, but the pool is not heated. The ion bars supporting the AC outside the window sticks out and you can easily get injured when you walk into the door of your room. This place is cheap, inconsiderate, and uncomfortable.

Bathroom was icky, walls were decomposing, shelf was reattached at least 50 times, no shower drain, toilet continuously ran until my husband fixed it. Room has 2 tvs. One, the main one is not smart so only a few channels. You get what you pay for. We went a little cheaper to do some other activities. Won't do that again!

Property and access was good. Staff friendly, room clean. Pool area good with plenty of lounges. Upstairs hallway to access back parking lot stairs needs attention. Rug has tripping risk and nails sticking up. 3 night stay of which we had no TV 2 of those nights.

Very disappointing stay. The room had a strong musty smell, and the AC unit appeared moldy. The smell was so uncomfortable that I couldn’t fall asleep until around 2 a.m., and I woke up feeling completely stuffed up. The Wi-Fi also didn’t work. I contacted the property about these issues, but they never responded or followed up. Definitely not the experience I expected, and I would not stay here again.

I stayed at N’er Beach years ago & had no complaints. Since then ownership has clearly changed. Check in went smoothly. I got my key to unlock my door- I thought my doorknob was going to fall off it was so loose. Entered my musty room & saw the most uninviting bedding-with a cigarette hole burned into the thinnest comforter! I had 2 of my children with me so we weren’t planning on spending much time in the room anyway-evening pool time is a MUST! Well, NOT HERE! The entire pool area reeked of super strong chlorine, despite the smell, the pool was BRIGHT green. So unappealing that my oldest didn’t want to go in & so gross looking/smelling I wouldn’t let my youngest in. Another guest went in for less than 30 min while I was there & the pool turned her sterling silver jewelry BLACK!! My kids were bored & hot. Oh! Hot! Because our air conditioner didn’t work!!! Someone from the office ended up bringing us a fan for our room (it’s August and 85 degrees outside with no relief inside) Bored because they couldn’t swim & despite advertising free WiFi, the WiFi only worked outside. At one point I suggested to my unhappy son to go swing on the playset. He said it was so wobbly he didn’t feel safe. I thought he was exaggerating, but my 13y/o tried it out & I thought the structure was going to collapse. We ended up sleeping ok- the bed was comfortable- once we went to the store to buy 1 blanket to sleep on & 1 to sleep under. I will never stay here again & I advise you not to as well.

I’ll start with the positives. Cleaning staff was very friendly, and attentive. The location is walking distance to Scoop Deck ice cream and a cute little bakery for iced coffee. I came into this booking with low expectations, but wow what an experience. Shower was boiling hot, or freezing cold. We had to fill a water bottle with cold water from the sink, and mix it with the shower water to be able to rinse and not burn alive. WiFi, is available, when we both tried to use it at the same time the connection slowed down and stopped working. A.C. Unit is in the room, but it’s either freezing cold or does not work. Bring a blanket with you, the only option is a thin top sheet. The motel is dog friendly, BUT you CANNOT leave your dog here at any point even if you have a crate. If you leave to go get a coffee or anything for a few minutes it’s a $250 fine. So we had to use ROVER for doggy day care to go out for meals or do anything. I would not stay here again. Goodluck.

Clean room, easy check in

The price was cheaper than other hotels aorund. Some of the rooms did not look as up to date. Some minor repairs could be applied to some of the rooms

Old-school basic. Perfectly adequate for the price. Set back from the main road, so it's quiet.

Location Our room was filthy and I do have pictures to back that statement. Upon arriving the first thing you notice: The screen door was broken The other door was filthy and peeling, Our floors were FILTHY, Linens were questionable with hairs and black specs on them Bathroom was filthy and toilet seat cover was missing The shower curtain laid on the floor about 6 inches too long and was not water resistant and looked moldy No curtains on the bathroom window we had to use trash bags to give us privacy The bed linen as I said was questionable but only a sheet on the bed and some curtain like throw. Honestly, I am not high maintenance, and cleanliness is all that we ask for. I shouldn't have to buy cleaning supplies and clean when you are asking over 200.00 per night. Very disappointing!

Je ne recommande pas. Malgré un très bel emplacement, les commodités à l'extérieur étaient très apprécié sauf la piscine, l'eau était verte par les algues, pas de filtreur. Certaines personnes se baignaient quand même....Ils auraient dû empêcher la baignade et corriger le problème, mais rien n'a été fait. La chambre n'était pas propre, surtout la salle de bain.

Dude argues my C card is invalid while he punched it wrong. Pool water murky and stinky, no chlorine whatsoever. People switching rooms because too nasty. Noisy metal beds, plastic bed covers. Avoid at all cost.

Clean but run down, good location

The room was clean and comfortable. The towels and sheets were soft, clean and smelled so good. The whole room smelled fresh and inviting.

Was a clean room not bad experience

Pool water was green..!! Yuck..!! Pool area unkept mold on chairs.Bathroom door didn’t close. Faucet leaked all over the counter. Toilet paper holder broken. Mold on chairs outside door. Had to park on backside on a busy traveled road..Unless we receive a credit we won’t stay with you again. We’ve stayed here for years but we realize there are new owners & they don’t care like the previous owners..😞👎
